I don't know why I'm having so many problems.  Usually goes smooth.  New error:

FAQ: TexGen.exe/DynDOLOD.exe:

A: ESL plugins can only add new records with form IDs between xxxxx800 and xxxxxFFF, but the plugin defines a form id outside these limits. See https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/topic/5079-plugin-files-and-you-esmeslesp/. The plugin needs to be fixed. Broken plugins cause issues in the game.

TexGen will no longer run for me. I keep getting an error saying "An error occured while loading modules. Editing is disabled. Check the message log and correct the error." I tried restarting my PC and that didn't fix it. I don't have a "message log" anywhere and the only logs I have in my DynDOLOD folder that were created today are what showed up on my TexGen window until the error popped up.

Read the first post what log files and bugreport.txt if it exists to up[load when making posts.

The message log is the window that opens and where xEdit/xLODGen/DynDOLOD then print their log messages so the user can see what is happening.

messages-log.png

The content of the message window is saved to the log file in the log folder when the program is closed.

In case the log files is not created, the program is most likely blocked from file access by the OS, antivir etc.

In case no new log file is created/appended, it might be possible to mark and copy paste the content of the message log window with the usual keyboard shortcuts.

Loading the same load order with xEdit/xLODGen should show same errors and warnings.

https://paste.ee/p/H2CGG <- Dubug_Log

https://paste.ee/p/4Uktm <- Log part 1 (file was over 1MB for a single paste)

https://paste.ee/p/BI0WI <- Log part 2

I still don't see anything called "message log" in my DynDOLOD "Logs" folder and those 2 logs were the only 2 logs with today's date stamp. All the other files and logs had a date stamp of 10/13/2021.

I actually don't get any such error when using xEdit tho. I haven't tried xLODGen tho since I don't need to update my terrain LOD. I was just gonna run TexGen and then DynDOLOD.

When log messages are saved to a log file, it is sometimes called the message log.
That is because In xEdit the tab for the log message window is called "Messages".
The first post explains to truncate the normal log file to last meaningful session.

The log shows these easy to find "error" messages:

[00:09] Background Loader: <Error: [REFR:FE0A5A3A] (places CityBannerWhiterun01 [MSTT:000D2025] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of WhiterunPLainsDistrict03 [CELL:0001A27A] (in WhiterunWorld "Whiterun" [WRLD:0001A26F] at 5,-2)) has invalid ObjectID 00BA3A in WRHorseStatue - Missives.esp for a light module (ESL). Read ..\DynDOLOD\docs\help\LightPlugin.html found in the DynDOLOD Standalone archive.

"The plugin should not be flagged as ESL or the FormIDs need to be compacted. "

The xEdit message log will show the same error message, but it can be used to edit the form ids. It should refuse saving the plugin as long as it contains "invalid object ids"

Read https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum which entire log and debug log to upload when making posts.

Was there not a pop-up error message that looked something like this?

TreePineForest03 [REFR:FE001A3A] has invalid ObjectID 00AA3A in HPTaF-WRGate.esp for a light module (ESL).
These errors can cause CTD and other serious issues and need to be fixed.
Ignore wrong advice to temporarily disable plugins.
Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message

Clicking on that link opens https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Invalid-Object-ID with further explanations about the error and how to fix the problem. Fix the broken light plugins by removing the ESL flag and/or compacting their form IDs.

Thanks für the reply

Sorry, had not read. Here is the link from Paste with the two logs: https://paste.ee/p/WTQNu

Yes, a pop-up error message has appeared. Here the paste with the error message text: https://paste.ee/p/AsBVH

You had the error prompt that explains that there is a problem with a record in a plugin.
You naturally clicked the link "Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message" that opens https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Invalid-Object-ID and read the explanations why the error happens and how to fix the broken plugin.
You made a post telling us that you get this error with screenshots from MO2 but you did not ask a question.

Do you require any further help beyond what the page and I explained about removing the ESL flag and/or compacting FormIDs?

I'm running it through MO2, and it always gets through a certain amount of plugins before it stops and throws a generic error window telling me to look in the log. It doesn't show me any actual errors in the log, but maybe I'm missing something?

Here's the log.

Also, if you don't mind, could you tell me how you found the error, and what I might be looking for in the future event I run into issues again? I'd appreciate it!
