CTD Leaving Raven Rock.

Hello, seems I have a new problem. The game runs perfect, gorgous looking too!

except whenever I try to leave Raven Rock I crash. I am bit unsure what it is, but it seems obvious that there is something loading in an exterior cell that clashes with something.

 

How do I get a crashlog? Can't seem to find one in the folders.

The first step would be to try and reproduce this with a new save. If it still happens then, then start a save with all the ESPs disabled and re-enable a few at a time until it starts happening again, that way you can hopefully pin it down to one mod. Make sure to report back with your findings!

Not a crash report specifically, but you can enable the script logs by setting the following in Skyrim.ini

[Papyrus]
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation = 1

Hm. I am not sure what the problem was, since everything works fine now... And everything that was active, is. It did get the CTD with a new save too, so... I am confused. I guess I should be happy that it works.

Those CTDs are pretty much common with vanilla skyrim for a lot of users, even Xbox users have this issue. I doubt any logging will help you with matter, since Papyrus logs don't mention anything about cell changes and that seems to be the issue. It took me 10 days to figure out how to get inside Raven Rock Mine, I finally just loaded it up with only the mods in STEP before I could finally get in and stop getting freezes near the big wall where the ash spawn crop up.

 

Skyrim Performance Monitor seemed to show a big spike in RAM right at the CTD, but my VRAM seemed to be flat. We might just have to wait for a patch that addresses this, but don't hold your breath.
