Question

Hello, ill keep this short. Im making a large new lands mod for skyrim se and it has multiple worldspaces that require lod. I have, on multiple occasions, generated the LOD for the worldspaces and got good results.

Today, after a few days of tuning the worldspaces, ran sselodgen and dydonold on the worlds. Dysonlod produced the objects as expected, but seelodgen returns "no useful land data" for the worldspaces.

I loaded up a version from a few days ago, enabled that version in the load order, and ran sselodgen, it created the lod data.

I havent and wont change these areas enough to need new lod data in the future, but my problem is, is this a esp wide issue, will every worldspace i create from now on have this issue, and when i release the mod, will other users no longer be able to generate lod data themselves?

Post some useful information if you want an answer or help troubleshooting.

Useful information would be for example the two logs of the generations and which xLODGen version you are talking about.

Since no additional information was provided I will have to guess a couple things: fix any errors in plugin. Add some LAND records with height data to some of those cells. Uncheck specific chunk.

here are the logs. ive run sselodgen before on this worldspace and got great results, multiple times. so id like to know if this is a issue with the creation kit or what im doing with sselodgen.

i generated lod for this worldspace using a older version of the mod, but using the most recent returns the no useful Land Data

So the older version of the mod had LAND records.

Simply check what might be up with those LAND records in xEdit.

Use CK to add some LAND records with terrain height data and maybe paint some landscape texture on them.

im fairly certain this is a creation kit issue. the worldspace exists almost exactly how it did in the previous version, but i went in did some landscaping by hand in the CK and ran SSElodgen again and it worked. I'm not sure what is causing it, but it seems whenever SSelodgen sends me this error i just have to do that.

thanks for all the help, just one of the quirks of the CK i suppose.
