Elven Weapons for Silence

Installing the above mentioned mod "Elven Weapons for Silence" in the STEP 2.2.1 test version via Mod Organizer returns the following error after 'Running external installer' :

Installation failed - File 'skyrim.esm' is not Active.

 

 

Well, I double checked, the file IS active and grayed out in Mod Organizer. I am installing the mod via 'Right click - > Install mod...'  option, since Download with Manager fails to even download it.

 

Had no other mod failing like this bar this one, and I installed them all in the STEP 2.2.1 version.

This is because MO blocks NMM installers from seeing the other files(encapsulation)... to work around this go to settings and select Prefer integrated fomod installer then try again.
