Question

Posted (edited)

I recently started playing Skyrim again these last few days and I am using MO for the first time to install mods and I think it does a great job at simplifying things and keeping vanilla Skyrim files pristine.

Today, Skyrim started having huge frame drops so I saved the game and wanted to reopen it but I found MO in this state: https://i.imgur.com/UuPXpb1.jpg

Yesterday, it looked like this: https://i.imgur.com/F0rhnAX.jpg

First, I tried creating a clean profile in MO, then I tried deleting the blank mods, after which I swapped back to the Default profile. The deletion looked like it failed with mod not found and upon switching back to Default there were more errors about missing plugins. I've exported the log into a txt file which I will attach.

I decompressed MO into D:\My Games\[skyrim]\ModOrganizer and I have full read and write access there.

Wow. I had no idea, thanks.

But I have another question now. If there are as many people as you say who have approached you with the same issue, then perhaps there's something wrong with the UI design?

No, just with the users that don't actually see what is presented to them. Similar to drivers that don't check if the gear is in reverse before pressing the accelerator and drive into the car/wall/pedestrian in front of them.
