Long transition times

I recently finished installing STEP: Extended, and its working great. The game is beautiful, there is little to no stuttering, and I have not had a crash. But despite all that, Every time I enter a new area or fast travel, it takes at least 30-45 seconds to transition. Are there any ways to make area transitions go quicker? Thanks!

Nope, that is most likely your HDD/SDD. The assets for the new area have to be loaded from disk and that is the wait you're most likely experiencing.
