jbsheridan Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 I would like to totally uninstall Mod Organizer and its connections to Skyrim and start all over. How do I do this? i can't seem to find any uninstall instructions. Thank you very much!
0 GrantSP Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 The MO guide answers this exact question in the FAQ section, along with links to more advanced help if you have problems with NXM links no longer working.
0 hishutup Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Other than deleting the MO directory, there isnt any that I can think of.
0 Darth_mathias Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 there should actually be a uninstall.exe in the the main mod organizer folder.
0 hishutup Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 unless you installed it, everything is portable.
0 jbsheridan Posted October 22, 2016 Author Posted October 22, 2016 Thank you very much for the link. I really appreciate it.
0 sacapierres Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 Just in case someone wants to save a precious minute or two, in this never ending mod adventure. (taken from https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#FAQ) Q: I want to uninstall MO, what do I do? A: First, inside MO, go to Settings and select Mod Organizer for the load mechanism. Close MO and then just stop using it. You can delete the ModOrganizer directory if you're sure you need nothing from it anymore (like mod archives). Beyond that, no uninstallation is necessary. MO does not write to the registry or into any directory besides its own. Note: The NXM association is still active, see 'Fixing NXM Issues' in the advanced guide on how to correct that.
