Major lag with SRLE

Just installed SRLE exactly as the guide told me to (except for ddsopt things) and I'm having horrible lag spikes at all times, especially when I turn my character.

PC specs:

8 gb corsair vengeance

nvidia gtx 760 2gb vram

i5-4670 haswell

z97 gaming 5 motherboard

it sounds like youre at the edge of the VRAM.

Use lower res textures. I'd recommend a limit of 1k with some 2k.

One of my older cards had 2GB and I was unable to use something like 2k landscape textures.

but I have had heavier load orders with complete 4k in the past and I handled them at 30 fps but now I can't even open inventory without lag

I dont think you can run 4k on a 2gb video card without running out of memory... i am now at 3.9 gb of memory using the guide + lotd guide

try removing mods one by one and see if helps, maybe lag with script causing it, had problems in past cause of script

My 6GB card is bearly capable of using the highest res textures out there.

My 970 was limited to about 2k with some 4k, like mountains.

Also texture size doesn't directly impact fps a sizable amount, less than what you'd perceive.

so then what might be giving me lag?
