Mod Organizer will not load any mods

Question

Posted

Alright, so here's what happened.

A friend logged into their Steam account on my PC to play a game. After that, I tried to boot up Skyrim, but I forgot to log back into my account first - got an error message that this game belongs to another account.

Now when I start SKSE from MO, none of my mods get loaded.
  • Windows has been updated.
  • I already have the "-forcesteamloader" argument for SKSE in MO, and I even tried adding it to TESV.exe and SkyrimLauncher.exe.
  • A copy of my ModOrganizer.ini has been attached.
  • I tried rebooting Skyrim from the Steam launcher already, and it detected and installed the mods I had subscribed to on Steam (I have un-subbed from those mods and done the proper "safe Steam Workshop install" steps since then). I don't know if it would have loaded them properly in game though.
  • Clearing Steam's appcache folder per these instructions and starting Steam as an administrator didn't work, either. Skyrim is under the Steam games folder, I'm logged in to Steam properly, my MO directories are correct, and I even verified the integrity of game cache and still no fix.

The game runs fine, and all my saves work. I want to test out some noticeable city mods like Better Towns Textures, JK's Skyrim and No Snow under the Roof, but none of the mods appeared to be loading. I even got the "Some plugins have been disabled and content may be missing. Continue?" warning before I loaded the save...even though my load order hasn't changed from before this problem started.

Oddly enough, it seems to be loading at least one texture replacer, that one being Stormcloak Armor Revival. but I don't notice it loading any plugins.

What could the problem possibly be? Is it even with Mod Organizer? Is there something I need to do with Steam to fix this problem? It's been going on for a month and I have no idea what to do. ;-;
