Installing optional files

blur210

Question

  • If installing optional files for a mod, it should be installed as a separate mod in Mod Organizer rather than merged into the main mod.

After installing all the mods for SRLE, ive seen this note from Neovalen, and i want to know how important it is, to separate the optional files from the mod, because me, i've merged all the files in my installation. Now i'm thinking about re-installing all the mods containing optional files to separate them, but i want to be sure of the consequences.

Thx

And i want to make a special thanks to Neovalen for his wonderful guide, it's a lot of work but now Skyrim look beautiful.

If you've already done what you've done, and it's all working fine, then leave it alone.

Doing it the way Neo suggests makes it a lot easier to change optionals, swap options in and out etc, rather than have to mess around with reinstalling full mods.
