  1. Did I miss something about Caranthir Tower being decided against? There's a patch for Inigo + enhanced landscapes, was just curious.
  2. Hey v16.2 of LOTD released today. If we had 16.1 installed do you guys know if a new game is necessary? Is not a problem (still kind of in testing phase) and I know for the v16 you did but idk about a more minor update.
  3. Anybody do any testing of the new (major) update to Vigor? I'm curious what type of MCM settings you recommend for use with an otherwise base game. I know personally I turn off the stam reduction while running because it seems pretty stupid, but not sure if that still holds true and I'm at work all day so hard to test.
  4. The one thing I absolutely cannot stand is that the safehouse craftloot system constantly causes me to ctd because I assume there are just too many items. Incredibly frustrating.
  5. Anybody having issues with ctds while using the smelter or water fountain in the safehouse? While not every time I've ctd'd enough to where I quicksave before using either feature.
  6. I don't like playing as mages which at first meant that vigor injuries kind of sucked to deal with (bandages etc), but I'm super intrigued by CACO's bombs so I ended up getting physician, and the poultices you can make with that perk will heal you over time to full. Additionally, I disabled the rest prevention in Vigor so I could sleep which, combined with using health regen % food from CACO (cooked potatoes) means you heal to full if you can just escape and rest. Honestly though I kind of think wildcat's injury system is better as long as it's combined with no base health regen. Going to 3rd or 4th the Vilja being technically good but annoying on a personal level. FWIW I uninstalled all the special followers except Inigo and Sofia and then installed Garm the husky because at least he shuts up. Sofia is only there because of the merged patches lmao. By the way v16 of legacy really fleshed out the starting quest from LAL, I highly recommend beginning your new game in Solitude. Edit: incidentally, this mod package is quite excellent so far with v16, I'm blown away by the work you guys did putting it together. I added Hunterborn (+ patches), SWIFT and a few other choice mods and I will never go back, except MAYBE if Last Seed is the second coming, or if Organic Factions or OSA revolutionize Skyrim like their mod authors are promising. I will say I feel like a complete jackass diving face first into fish pools though, so maybe Fishing in Skyrim gonna go into my load order. Anyway, cheers and thanks for the hard work!
  7. Should be noted that the new (Final) version of LotD mod just hit the nexus. My dumb ass is 8 hours deep in 15.3.4 play, but it's totally worth it to drop and play the new one.
  8. Darth thanks for the response. I wouldn't worry too much about the Skyway mod. It's visually appealing and is a convenient way to cross the bay dry, but apparently part of Solitude's lore is that the only way to access it by land is via Dragon Bridge anyway. Dunc thanks for the heads up, I'll check the CR (although it doesn't seem to have become an issue in my current playthrough.) Keeping on topic: Since we use stuff like Easy Wheelmenu, any thoughts on Quickloot https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73096/?, It's just food https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77099/? and Swift Potion Reborn https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29512/? The first one especially has been helpful in my current playthrough, and the only time the mod itself has been suggested was in February, and the response someone gave for not using it (menus in combat) is literally an MCM toggle they chose to ignore. It's just food is a patch, essentially, for iNeed that assigns Frostfall and other mod's food their appropriate designations (light/medium rations etc). Finally, swift potion reborn basically is just there because a consolidated potion hotkey is something the base game should have had, so I thought I'd mention it. There are a few magic related swiftcasting and hotcasting systems, but potions for me are the biggest offender.
  9. Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you the next hot single: Rustic ANIMATED Potions and Poisons (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77541/?) by dailyplanet ft. Gamwich. I'll take my finder's fee in Haralds.
  10. Ah yeah man I saw that in the MCM guide, I just got nerd-frustrated with her when she was randomly talking about our mysterious attraction when Roggvir was getting executed.
  11. So SMIM updated again to 1.92, this time requiring Real Roads for Skyrim (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/55518/?) for the default install. Basically it just makes cobblestones have a 3D texture, and the other mod is to propagate that change to all roads in Skyrim instead of just bridges. Seems like more of a SRLE dilemma than an SRLE: LOTD one, but thought I'd mention it. Played for 8 hours straight today, game plays great (especially since I use Hunterborn and because I kicked Sofia after she interrupted the first two scenes in a row with wildly out of place dialogue).
  12. Joe from the nexus page https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76522/? it looks like those mods don't use the correct female body slider for this mod (they use UNP and not UNPB), so you may have to download them individually from this page of converters: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69709/?. Otherwise, it looks like you will need HDT High heels https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36213/? for some of those armors to work. Otherwise the armors should work just like immersive armors and/or like the individual armor sets. That just means you can/should bake them into your bashed patch.
  13. Just a heads up, Ordinator and Imperious were both updated. It looks like Enai mainly incorporated the modern brawl bugs mod, but there are also significant changes to racials and script checks in Imperious. Also the Disparity compatibility patch was updated to match. Edit: also an update to enhanced vanilla trees, but it should be noted that the update is apparently an optional folder that does not affect any options currently in use by the guide.
  14. Jarl I'd suggest taking a hard pass on Art of the Catch buddy. I love me some Chesko mods, but it is basically a proof-of-concept mod and not feature-rich enough to really work well. It recognizes the caco fishes w/ the patch and even in the merge, but honestly for the time being Fishing in Skyrim is just inherently superior outside of the novelty of a fishing cast animation.
  15. Jarl I actually haven't crafted a fishing rod yet lmao, every time I start I escape the LAL cell then decide I want to change something (skytest fewer spawn esp swap, add SWIFT and AotC, new animations etc). I did like that when I dove into a river to catch some dragonflies I couldn't just grab fish out of thin air. I expect it will work very well with the caco patch though.
