  1. I understand. Thank you for the reply & elucidation Sheson, and for all of your hard work.
  2. I definitely understand that perspective, and personally update my own guide (Ultimate Skyrim) as frequently as possible, but we're trying to prioritize installation through Automaton, which currently breaks if a designated file is removed from the Nexus servers. The Automaton installation can be updated same as a guide, but in cases where we cannot update the install immediately, hosting older versions would at least prevent the install from totally breaking until we have a chance to update. (I know the Automaton dev team is also working to allow users to skip specific downloads in such cases, but until that functionality is available, keeping older versions is the only viable workaround I can think of.) My thinking is that a working Automaton installation on a slightly outdated version of DynDOLOD is preferable to no working installation at all, but I can also understand how you may not agree and/or have any interest in supporting this installation method, and of course it is entirely your prerogative. I just figured I'd ask!
  3. DynDOLOD updates at a breakneck pace (which is awesome), and it's sometimes difficult to keep up with the updates where modlists are concerned. Would it be possible to keep older versions hosted in the Old Files section of the Nexus in the interim while modlist authors like myself work to update our modlists? Thanks in advance for any replies, and in general for your guys' incredible work.
  4. I don't have the [Particles] or [LightingShader] sections in my Skyrim.ini, so I added them along with fDecalLODFadeStart/End set to 1 each. I also changed the pre-existing iMaxDesired value in SkyrimPrefs.ini to 3000. No dice unfortunately - the problem persists.
  5. Hey there Sheson! Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you - I hope you've been taking good care of my firstborn. I'm experiencing a strange problem with my DynDOLOD. Whenever DynDOLOD initializes, I get flickering torches/fog/moveable statics. It's almost like z-fighting, like the statics are vying against each other. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. This doesn't happen when I disable DynDOLOD, or if DynDOLOD hasn't yet initialized. Once I see "DynDOLOD has successfully initialized", the flickering begins. I've tried moving the DynDOLOD Output in MO's left pane, moving DynDOLOD.esp up and down the load order, to no avail. These are the mods I have installed, if it helps. My hunch is that ELFX and/or ETaC are somehow involved, but I might be way off base. Thanks in advance for your time, and seasons greetings once more.
  6. Turns out Enhanced Lights and FX wasn't forwarding the Distant LOD entries for 000487e7 and 000487e8. I patched ELFX and now everything's kosher. Thanks so much for your help, Sheson. You truly are one of the greats, and my firstborn is en route.
  7. Yes sir. The file ends with "Log ended at 10:46:43 PM" LODGen_Blackreach.txt has 1321 lines. There are 13 files in \Data\Meshes\Terrain\blackreach\Objects\. My generation options are below (Medium): Here is the first screenshot, with sw 15e. The LOD is missing: Here is the second screenshot, with \Data\Meshes\Terrain\blackreach\Objects\ hidden in Mod Organizer. The LOD's are no longer hidden:
  8. DynDOLOD Resources are fully installed (i.e. everything from 00 DynDOLOD Core Files). TES5Edit_log.txt contains the line "Background Loader: [skyrim - Meshes.bsa] Loading Resources". TES5Edit_log.txt contains no error messages or missing nif messages. LODGen_Blackreach_log.txt contains no error messages.
  9. Hey there Sheson. I'm in the process of signing over my firstborn, but maybe you can help me out in the meantime. For some reason, Blackreach LOD's aren't generating properly and I'm missing large chunks of the cave ceiling. I'm running DynDOLOD through MO, and MO isn't managing my archives. I'm also running the most recent Core Files and Scripts (2.10 and 2.11 respectively). Here's some pictures of the issue. Thanks in advance!
