  1. I'm still installing SR:LE etc, but I turned up an old STEP forum thread about a mod that raises speech when you read books. Someone's redone that without the infinite XP issue that the old mod had. He's also got a demo on the file download section for a new version which won't need compatibility patches. Thought it might be of interest for a future release of STEP. I haven't got a working game to try it with yet. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57330/?
  2. Thanks, much appreciated. That might be worth adding to the wiki page in some form.
  3. There's a section in the SR:LE guide that talks about setting up PapyrusCompiler.exe to only run in 32bit mode, and I'm having the same issue as some others on Win7 with getting the SDK installed properly. I'm still pursuing some of the potential fixes (the Win 8.1 version will be my next attempt), but I've gone through the guide a couple of times and I can't find any mention of using it for anything. If it's not used, why is it included at all? /confused
  4. Thank you, much appreciated. SR:LE + REGS + PerMa is more in line with what I was interested in playing. Now, if only Mod Organizer had a script type functionality that would let end users feed it a set of instructions and let it do the downloading, configuring and maybe even endorsing. :-P Maybe in the next TES game.
  5. STEP presents SR:LE as a pack, which I believe are supposed to be installed after you have a stable STEP load, but I have the distinct impression it's actually another beast entirely. Could someone clarify this for me? Thanks.
