I try not to change my load order very much because running dyndolod is probably the most time consuming process of any other. I just wanted to check with other users: Is it normal that it takes 47 minutes to patch a mod list of 150 plugins? Is there any way to hasten this process? My computer often sounds like a jet engine while this is taking place too.
Every time an NPC does not have a default FaceGeom file it looks like this (ugly, disgusting creature): https://i.imgur.com/AQqma0p.png When I export FaceGenData from Creation Kit it only gives me the FaceTint. I need the FaceGeom so I can fix this problem! Many NPC do not have default FaceGeom files it would seem so I see this hideous wretch everywhere. Usually I can fix it by reinstalling the mod but the screenshot here shows a particularly nasty problem. Resinstalling Interesting NPCs does not fix it, nor does the FaceTint from Creation Kit. For reference, this is "Jade" from 3DNPC.
Oh man I made a classic ROOKIE mistake!!!! I unpacked the wrong scripts from my download archive. So pathetic. Thanks for helping me, it's all good now thanks to using brain cells properly.
I don't understand how because it was a fresh Skyrim install and no older DynDOLOD files existed... But I guess I can use Dyndolod like a LOD generator and delete the ESP after.
Hi Sheson, I wrote a post a week or so ago saying that the "DynDOLOD_Tamriel.json does not belong to this Dyndolod.esp" appears on my screen constantly. I tried and tried but couldn't get rid of this error message. I reinstalled Dyndolod, I reinstalled any and all LoD mods. I did everything I could think of. I decided I was going to start a new game anyway, so I shelved my level 67 character and did a completely fresh install. Then I followed the Dyndolod install instructions to the letter (it's pretty easy anyway). And I still get the "DynDOLOD_Tamriel.json does not belong to this Dyndolod.esp" message on my brand new Level 1 character. I think I give up. Is there a way I can delete this message? Because the mod works regardless of the nag.
I removed all my billboards and LoD output, deleted dyndolod, saved the game without any of the data. Then I installed the billboard, ran Tamriel for trees and terrains with Dyndolod worlds in TE5Edit, merged it all into one file in Mod Organzier. Loaded the save game and I get the nag update in the left corner again. Could it be possible that it's just data stored in my save file? Can I turn the warning off?
I keep getting this error message: I find this confusing because it happened after the most recent upgrade of Dyndolod. So what I did was delete Dyndolod, save the game without it, reinstall it, run the TES5Edit script, paste the output into Mod Organizer and start up the game again. But I'm getting the error messages. With the output my LoDs look great if I disable Dyndolod.esp but I'm assuming the whole "dynamic" part of the program doesn't work without out so here I am. Also with this error message it takes 10 seconds to open my map which really sucks.
