  1. Thank you. I was using Realvisions ENB ini files. The skyrim inis only modified per STEP. I'll give your ENB settings a try. No reason to feel bad suggesting them. That is exactly the type of insight/solution I'm looking for.
  2. Thank you. I had looked around and didn't see a link to it. I guess I expected something in the wiki or nav rather than a forum section...
  3. This is somewhat related to my thread here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/7838-is-60-fps-not-achievable-with-enb-and-this-system/ I'd like to understand what FPS I should expect (assuming a good configuration) with my hardware. Benchmarking data would save me a ton of time if it indicates either that I should be able to do better or if I'm already on or close to par. I see that benchmarking data is requested in the STEP guide. But, I don't see anywhere that this data is published. Is that a work in progress? Or am I just missing the link?
  4. I have an i7, 16GB RAM and a 4GB GeForce GTX 960. With 90% STEP configuration and RealVision ENB, I'm getting 30 FPS. With same setup minus ENB I was getting 60 FPS handily. Is this about what I should expect? I'm new to modding. So, am not confident that I haven't made a misstep somewhere. Hoping that someone with more experience can let me know if I should be able to see higher FPS with this system. I don't want to troubleshoot and flip a million switches if it's never going to happen with this hardware... Thank you for any insight!
  5. That fixed it. Thank you! The first time around it just worked when I plugged it in. Maybe because I plugged it in during the game?
  6. First of all, thank you for STEP. It has been extremely helpful to me. I initially installed vanilla skyrim and my xbox one controller worked immediately. I could unplug it in game and the mouse would start working and vice versa. This continued to work after installing many mods as well. However, I decided to try modding "right" and following the STEP guide. I got up to the end of applying the "fixes" mod and jumped into the game to test progress. Now my gamepad doesn't work. Mouse and keyboard are fine. But, the game doesn't seem to recognize the gamepad. I've tried installing Microsoft drivers, different usb ports, restarting machine, looking for options to enable it. I ran joy.cpl and confirmed that the os is reading it fine. Any ideas?
