Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Could somebody please let me know the total no. of files in each of their Merged Mod folders (excluding meta.ini and 'merge' folder). I'm having massive doubts about whether the merge result is correct. To be honest, I never really took the trouble to monitor the VRAM usage until I came up on my current predicament, and so far, I'm not seeing any limitations on my 3GB. I'm not certain how it might be for folks with Titans, etc, for example. -

Hi all. My PC specs are in my signature (additionally, I run Skyrim off an SSD drive, and my PC is running Windows 10). I just finished reinstalling SRLE as per Neo's recommendations, and I expected that I would be able to achieve a decent frame rate, but it appears not... I tried tweaking things so that I achieve a stable frame rate of at least 30 fps at all times, but still can't seem to - it always drops to about 20-25, and then spikes up to about 40 at other times. I tried using Low setting on DYNDOLOD, and also reducing the ENB quality from withing the enbseries.ini, but nothing's worked. Can you suggest anything else I could try? I wouldn't even mind trying to drop the texture sizes from 2K to 1K, but I don't wanna have to do it all mod-by-mod, nor can I D/L everything again (limited bandwidth). Would it be alright if I just DDSopt-ed my entire mod folder all at once? -

Hey Neo, is there any reason, or major conflict that would stop me from wanting to install EEO on your setup? If not, how do you reckon I should look at prioritizing stuff... -

Guys, I was just going through the guide again, and have a question about the Creation Kit. Not so much a question, I guess its more either an observation, or a misunderstanding. Is the Cretion Kit really needed for anything in SR:LE? As in, would the final outcome be somehow different if we were to leave out the Creation Kit altogether? -

I may be mistaken, but I think this error comes up when you try to save a rule or override too high on the UserList. Moving the rule lower in the list usually helps. -

New rules in BOSS Masterlist, people... And some of them mess with the Conflict Resolution masters sort order. -

Hey guys. I'm feeling ready for a change, ENB-wise, and was looking into installing a different one. However, I realized that the ELE Interior Lighting Merged Mod from Vividian has records in the CR patch, so I can't merely disable Vividian and enable another ENB. How should I go about installing another ENB? Is it sufficient to remove that ESP from the list of CR Patch masters? -

Nope, I re-installed the mod, checked the priorities... This issue occurs even when I have no face texture mods installed. Edit: Guys, I figured it out. After the install, I was using the coc command from the main menu to stress test, and that's when I noticed the issue. Finally, for lack of any other ideas, I used the showracemenu command once in the world, and it corrected all the discolorations. So I then tried a new game, and surely enough, it was fine. Hopefully this might help someone who may come across this bug sometime. -

Hey all, I have a little issue. I've just done a clean install of SRLE, and now any male character i create has grey face textures. I searched around a lot but only came across other people who have had this isssue with NPCs. I tried reinstalling Better Males, playing without it, but no matter what I do, the face is discoloured. I repeat, it's only my male character. NPCs are fine, and my female characters are fine too. Please help. -

Guys, I have a couple of things I'd like to ask. I know this isn't the right place, but I haven't had any luck posting in any other threads (maybe they were necro'd by me). First, what sort of conflicts would I need to look for with the SR LE setup and mods like Vilja and Sofia? I am trying to understand which conflicts need resolution, and have gone through the FNVEdit manual as well, without any real understanding... Please help if someone can. Secondly, I run on a fairly decent (though certainly not high end PC) but with a 2GB GeForce 660 GPU. With SRLE setup according to the guide exactly, with only minor changes (quality reductions) with the ENB, I get an FPS of about 30-35, but it can drop to mid 25's in Whiterun etc. Honestly, that is something I 'could' live with. But often, I experience CTD's, and more rarely, ILS. I tried using Skyrim Performance monitor, but my GPU usage doesn't seem to go over the top. The only additional mods I have in my Load Order are the follower mods I mentioned and BVFE Serana. Any suggestions what the problem could be. Also, as a last resort, I wanna try reducing the texture sizes to 1K. Which mods in SRLE might have the greatest impact. Sorry if the questions are old and beaten up in the world of Skyrim modding, I only ask here 'cos nothing I tried has worked so far. -

Neo, according to the guide right now, you ask us to change the ENBlocal.ini which we made ourselves to enable SMAA if installed. You also ask us to select the SMAA options when running the installer for Vividian ENB. However, the guide still says to select everything from the ENB Install Files folder. Problem here is, there's a ENBLocal created as well. And I'm sure I didn't tick the option in the installer. Also, comparing the two ENBlocal.ini files, there are some pretty important looking differences. How should we address this? -
Hi guys, I'm not really all that confident of myself when it comes to Tes5Edit, and since there haven't been any updates on this thread for a while, I was wondering if someone could take a look and tell us if these patch guides are still up to date with the updates to the various mods in question, or whether something needs to be done differently. Sorry if its a bother. Thanks.

Guys, I have a question about a recent addition to the GDO section of the guide. I opened up TES5Edit, but I don't see any conflict. What do I do? -

Hey guys, how is AA, AF & V-Sync handled in the SR:LE guide. Everywhere I know, I have set it to off, like the guide says. Does this mean that they're handled (overridden) by the ENB? If so, how do I figure out what form of AA etc the ENB uses, in case I wanna swap it out for something else for comparison. I had opened a thread that contains details of all my settings, if that might help someone assist me. Edit: Its now clear to me, after Neo updated the ENB section of the guide today. -
Hey buddy, thanks a lot. It never even occurred to me to load all the plugins up and check. Did so just now, and you're right. Will keep it in mind for future... Cheers.

Hi all. I have followed the SR:LE guide, and it is up to date. However, one thing I am not quite sure about is whether I've got the V-Sync, AA and AF settings right, like they should be. It would be great if someone could tell me all the places these can be set for Skyrim, including INI files, ENB files, Nvidia Inspector (I just noticed that the Nvidia Inspector section isn't there any more?!?!), Launcher, and any others. Also, for SR:LE, how should it be set in all these places. For reference, and your information, my settings (which I know about), are as follows. Launcher - AA set to Off and AF set to Off ENB files - As per Neo's guide. Haven't tweaked it manually at all. SkyrimPrefs.ini, Skyrim.ini, Nvidia Inspector Settings for Skyrim are attached. Please, and thank you in advance, anyone who can help me understand this. Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini

Hi guys, in Neo's latest updates to the SR:LE guide, it looks like he's removed the Silver Perk (Form ID 0010D685) edit from before. I assume this is 'cos of something changed in the latest CCO update. So I went ahead and deleted the record from my Conflict Resolution.esp, but from my understanding, it doesn't look any different in TES5Edit than it used to. I've attached an image of what it looks like after I deleted the record. Is this correct, or have I done something wrong?

Instructions for installing Improved Eyes Skyrim with SR:LE
BSArtist posted a question in General Skyrim LE Support
Hi guys, I'm going through a full install of Neo's SR:LE guide as it is to date, and have run into something that needs a bit of clarification. The instruction is as follows: Improved Eyes Skyrim Author: missjennabee Version: 1.2 Optionals(Via Installer):    Complete    Complete - Full    None    Werewolf    Dawnguard Overrides: The Eyes of Beauty Mod Notes: This mod is a high quality texture replacer for all eyes in Skyrim. It also adds additional eye colors and variety for the player. My question is, after going through all the screens in the installer, I don't get whether 'None' is a mistake in the guide, or I'm missing something. The first two screens of the installer allow us to pick Complete and Complete - Full. But the third screen (which is the final screen) allows us to tick Dawnguard, Vampire and Werewolf or Werewolf - Alt. (one of the last two). I've installed it for the moment by ticking what I thought looked good. But suffering from a severe case of OCD, I really would like to know how Neo intended it. Cheers. -
