  1. This was a brand new install on my new ssd just for skyrim and mods. All brand new. I deleted everything and started over.
  2. I am having the same issue Ilkob is having. Everything completed OK but once in the game, I receive a message that DynDOLOD_Worlds.json does not belong to DynDOLOD.esp. I am using STEP: Extended and decided to try the beta version and I did have the error with the exception but checked here and seen 2.01 was uploaded so it fixed the error. I cleaned everything out from all the folders for DynDOLOD and started over. After 3 tries, I still receive the message that DynDOLOD_Worlds.json does not belong to DynDOLOD.esp.
  3. It's OK :) Just tested that by copying a 6GB file from D: to J:, it moved at avg of 72MB/sec, back from J: to D: was about the same so it seems ok I guess.
  4. System specs are in my signature, no antivirus or malware software installed yet just windows 8.1's default protection stuff, no game companions or anything just geforce experience which i never touch anything in it. System has been rebooted many times since this issue has came up.
  5. OK I tried with IE and Maxthon and it no longer has the annoying "failed to communicate with running instance" error But... Now MO stops responding 10-15 seconds (after it brings the window to the front) before it will do anything (says Not Responding in the title bar) then it will finally start the download. This is now on the first file too. Stops responding even longer if a file IS downloading.
  6. Just recently I had to re-install my Operating System. I decided this would be a good time to start my Skyrim over from scratch and set everything up exactly how I wanted it this time. I have the newest version of Mod Organizer installed (1.2.17) on J: which is a dedicated 150GB 10,000rpm drive just for Mod Organizer and my mods. My Skyrim is installed on my games drive D: I have a SSD as my system drive, so I prefer to keep only the OS and required files on C: I use Chromium 64 bit installed as my user, as is Mod Organizer. When I click on a file in Chromium to download a mod from Nexus, the first file downloads with no problem. The problem happens if there is at least 1 file already downloading and I try to download another, this is when it all falls apart. First I get a message saying "failed to communicate with running instance". When I click OK, Mod Organizer freezes (Not Responding in the title bar) for a good 10-15 seconds and then it shows it downloaded the file. It also does the "Not Responding in the title bar" for almost every action I attempt in MO, like enabling a small mode like "Live Another Life" which froze it for at least 10 seconds as it enabled. I have moved all my files to another drive and re-installed MO fresh and tried doing everything again and it still does it. So re-installing MO didn't help. I checked the NTFS permissions and the security settings for the drive and folders, all is setup ok. Before I reinstalled my OS, I was using 1.2.15 and it didn't have these issues. So I am at a loss as to what it could be. Could it be something with my new install? Something with the new version? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
