  1. I am also experiencing this issue, here is what mod organizer keeps telling me, pretty similar to OP. Mod Organizer Log.txt So what Mod Organizer is saying is that all these settings, most of them in are my Skyrim Prefs.ini, should actually be in my Skyrim.ini?
  2. I will most definitely check that out then. I've just completed section H of STEP, and im doing some benchmarking. Seems to be holding up pretty well, have the occasionally FPS dip, but nothing too bad.
  3. Thank you for the replies. I'm still curious as to if having the pagefiles on the SSD's being a bad thing, I've read some posts stating that it should only being used on the HDD.
  4. I have been going through the ropes making sure Skyrim is optimized to its fullest potential, and I just want to make sure my pagefile is setup correctly. I have 4GB of memory, and a 3GB video card. I have my system drive C, which is a 64GB SSD OS drive, the D drive is also a 64GB SSD and it houses my Skyrim and Mod Organizer folders, and E: is for all my other steam games, and it is a 1TB HDD. I have it setup as such right now, and 12GB seems excessive in my opinion, but I'm not really sure so i just want to know if it will affect performance if i have my pagefile set to high? And if so, what is a safe number to set it as for each drive?
  5. Thank you both for the insightful reply, I did get SPM to work finally with your suggestion, and have found it a little easier to understand than the Mem Info plugin. All this memory configuration stuff is a little over my head, but I think I'm starting to get a good grasp on how ENBoost actually functions and what it does to improve memory allocation, and I just want to make sure that everything is configured correctly so the game runs optimally before i start modding further. I did test a couple ENB presets, including TrueVision, RealVision, and Project ENb, but I feel that the FPS hit is just not worth it. All of them knock my FPS down to 30-35, and that makes the game less than desirable to play. There is definitely a lot of tweaking involved in this process, but I will continue to hold my head high and push forward.
  6. Hello Everyone! Just started modding Skyrim (yay!) and I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before proceeding into the 6+ hour adventure of S.T.E.P. I've completed S.T.E.P. up to point 2D, the ENBoost being the last thing I've installed. I wanted to use Skyrim Performance Monitor to monitor my VRAM usage in Skyrim, but have found that it conflicts with the d3d9.dll file used by ENBoost, so i went with another memory info plugin, but had a question about the numbers its reporting. I have a Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB card and 4GB of RAM, but its stating my VRAM is 4GB. And also, was confused about the PageFile and Memory that its reporting. I've attached a screenshot, can someone give me some insight as to what these numbers mean, and if anything looks incorrect?
  7. Is someone currently editing the wiki? I was looking at the page, and now, whole sections have been removed, and some links are no longer available.
  8. Just curious, as whole sections have now been removed, right as i was in the middle of learning what the hell i'm doing.
