SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified
Mauxe replied to paul666root's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Well - I posted something about minty myself the other day. Not sure if it was on this forum. I thought that was the problem because things seemed ok for a minute.. But my inventory issue came back. I have since gone through my mod list and disabled a large amount of esp's and then slowly tested the game as I re-enabled them. Well, the testing wasn't slow. That was actually in normal-time. The process was slow. I now have my game running smoothly (and looking smoothly). The only thinks I do not currently have active are Dual Sheath Redux, Dual Wield Parry and... TK Dodge. I plan on going through their installation again to see what the issue was but right now I am just happy to have a working game :) -

Ok... I am stuck with this situation where I cannot loot or even look at my inventory! I thought I might have messed up a merge but I went through them all again and they look fine. I have gone over my loadorder and don't see anything wrong. The game runs fine. It looks awesome. But when I loot or open my inventory it crashes. Would anyone be able to help me in the right direction? I'm not sure what I should be looking for now. -

I went back and looked over my SKSE install and I am missing one of the mods. I added that in which I hope will resolve my issue with Unique Plants. I was able to launch the game successfully but upon trying to leave the cell via the bed (to go camping in the woods) my game crashed. I ended up finding some information on this forum re: the installed ENB files. Apparently in some cases you need to install an ENB preset in order for the game to load correctly from the cell. That ended up working for me. Soon I was by my campfire in the woods and I waited a bit for the game to settle in. The game looks great and was smooth. Right away though I had an issue where I would CTD as soon as I tried to access my inventory. It happened immediately when I hit "I" and also when I hit the "Loot All" button in my campfire bag. More searching online led me to a post that talked about bad/corrupt items that can be caused by improperly installed mods or ... other reasons. The method to check was to use the console to "player.showinventory" and then look over your items. This post said that any item not starting with 0 would most likely be involved. The only item I had like that was the minty lightning book. I used "player.drop <itemID> 1" to drop that book. As luck would have it I was then able to access my inventory! I am going to go back over my installation to see if I messed anything up. Perhaps there was just an issue with the weather merge. I can also look at that item in xedit to see if anything jumps out. That would be more of a learning experience than a targeted attempt though. Still, I feel like I am almost ready to test out stability and then get into an actual playthrough! Thanks again for the awesome guide. -

I found an answer to the Immersive Citizen Patch question here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/11414-srle-legacy-of-the-dragonborn-reqtified/?p=189409 Still looking for the Unique Plants error issue. -
Apologies for the multiple posts above. After I posted here I noticed that the Yash'd Up guide links to a different post and I added my questions there. Then there was not a way to edit these out :(

I posted these questions to a different thread and then realized that the Yash'd up guide pointed here. ---------------------------------------------- I am following the directions for installing Unique Flowers and Plants and I am running into an issue. I am applying the script to remove land records. I have the esp file selected from the dropdown but when I press OK I get this message: Error in unit 'userscript' on line 32 : Undeclared Identifier 'RecordByHexFormID' Any ideas about what this is? Thanks for any help. I also need to say how much I appreciate this guide. Very easy to use and the modular format is much, much appreciated! ----------------------------------------------- Another question: per the guide I downloaded "ICAIO - Patches". The description at the bottom says: "This a compilation of patches for ICAIO. These patches will need to be merged into their respective merged mods, not all together" Yet I have gone through the entire Finish Line merge page as well as the weather and sound page and there was not any instance where they indicated to include these ICAIO files. Should I have just included them in the appropriate merged sections? Thanks again! -

Problem switching between profiles
Mauxe replied to Mauxe's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
Neo - that was the incredibly easy step that I was missing. Thanks! Also - I am not maintaining any mods from Steam. It is just easiest for him to launch the game through Steam. I keep separate login profiles on my computer and MO is not set-up on his. I will just disable the ENB when I am finished playing so that his will be pure vanilla. One follow-up question - is there a way to separate save games per profile? Or rename save games? -
Problem switching between profiles

Thanks for the feedback. I understand the different INI files and that my error is coming from having vanilla INI's without the needed additions for ENB. I was hoping to be able to keep my main folder playable from Steam as my son wants to play also but doesn't want all of the mods. It sounds as though I will need to set up the base game to use my ENB settings at the very least in order for that to work. Thanks for the overwrite clarification also. That definitely helps. -
I have successfully gone through the entire guide and am able to play (currently) without issue. There are still two issues that I am not sure about and I am hoping that someone can shed a little light. First, when I try to launch a Vanilla game, either through MO or through Steam, I get an error message that bfloatpointrendertarget is not set to 1. I believe this is an issue with ENB and upon investigation I see a large amount of ENB files in my main Skyrim directory. I feel that I followed each step of the guide closely and that I understand what was being modified - but I also thought that I was leaving my vanilla skyrim intact - so I am not sure what I did wrong (if anything) or if there is a way to make an adjustment which would allow me to run Skyrim vanilla without ENB. Second, the final steps of the guide go through the Bash patch as well as the ASIS and Dual Sheath Redux patches. These all get put into the overwrite folder automatically. I have created a "Skyrim Revisited - Modded" profile to add additional mods to while keeping the original "Skyrim Revisited" profile as a base. My question is: what is the best way to cleanly switch between profiles once I am not adding additional mods? Right now I have saved separate copies of the overwrite folder and switch them out each time. Would it work for me to put those folders in the mods folder of MO (knowing that if I made any changes I would need to re-do them)? I can test the second part out myself but I'm at work today :( and I needed to ask the first question anyway - so I thought someone with better knowledge could help. Thanks for any insight!
