I was confused about the contradiction. And I can't stand forced updates, so I wanted to know if there is something I missed to be able to shut this update down.
Thank you for the answers. All cleared up. Also I have learned that Steam forces updates. This update matter is not exactly solved now. But I understand there is neither a solution nor a workaround.
