Hi, First of all thanks for the detailed easy to follow guide. I've just finished setting up fear and loathing and started a new game. I'm getting big red exclamation points over some NPC's and flickering textures, mainly indoors (Goodsprings Saloon was quite bad). I'm not sure sure what I've done wrong, any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Hi Phazer11, I know Hunting in Skyrim has issues with PerMa, but I thought there was a fix for it TES5Edit. I am attempting the patcher again with it disable. I also switched from The Dance of Death to Violens as the previous poster did. I am using PerMa Compatibility Patches but I'm not sure about XML. Cheers

I've tried the default save I made on my modded profile without PerMa and the PerMa patch ticked in the left panel of MO, and while the other mods were being registered the Magicka still drained to -75. Could PerMa still be the cause? No red triangles in the load order O0mix0O, I know I've added the "1024" line to one of the files. I'm not sure if it was the moreheapspace or not. I'll have to check. Once I get some time, I'll go through and check the mods wth patchus maximus as you have suggested Nozzer66. Cheers

PerMa was the first mod I tried disabling, but the big still remained, so I didn't think it was the culprit. I only just thought about trying the default save without it. Does anyone know how to overcome the null value warning in the patcher, I couldn't find much information about it when I was installing PerMa. Thanks

Do you think PerMa could be the cause? I was getting the "null value" error whenever I ran the patcher. I might try run the default save I made with the modded profile without PerMa when I get home from work and see what happens.

I made a character in the default profile of MO (as it has no mods enabled). I got into helgen keep and my Magicka seemed fine. I tansferred that save to my modded profile and while all the mods were being registered the Magicka drained down to -75. I haven't verified the integrity of the game cache as of yet. I was just getting by with the console command to reset it to 100 as I'm playing an archer at the moment, so I don't have a huge need for Magicka. Still annoying though. I appreciate all the help so far guys.

When I went into the skills tab I saw that my Magicka was set to -75. So I've used the console command "player.setav magicka 100" to set it back to 100. It's kind of worked. My Magicka is back to 100 but the regen is still a little funny. It seems if I use Magicka and it gets below a certain threshold it won't regenerate. But if I take a potion to get back above the threshold it regenerates again. I have no idea what's going on haha.

I have just disabled all mods in MO and the bug is still present. I don't know where to go from here haha

Oh ok, this was a new game, and I've had zero Magicka from the moment I got control of my character after alduins attack at helgen. The only reason I noticed, was that I was using iHud and the Magicka bar wouldn't disappear. Then I ralised it was empty and not regenerating.

I was basically running step core + perma. I made a copy of the profile and am disabling mods and testing it. No luck yet, still zero Magicka. I checked active effects, while I had iNeed I was "slightly thirsty" so had 20% reduced regen on health, stamina and magicka. But it still remained completely drained. Since then I have disabled iNeed and it still won't regen. Which bug are you talking about Hishutup? Thanks

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows what might be causing my Magicka to be constantly drained and unable to regenerate (potions etc. do nothing). I've checked active effects and there's nothing in there that indicates why. Has anyone ever heard of this? Thanks, Eric

Hi guys, I just finished installing STEP Core and have noticed that when I draw my sword the scabbard moves noticeably far away from my characters body, it just seems to be floating in mid air ScreenShot2.bmp. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it? On another note, which mods from STEP Core are the most VRAM intensive as I am getting quite bad macro stutter in areas like Whiterun. I have already disabled Skyrim Floral Overhaul (I didn't use Skyrim Realistic Overhaul), and am trying to figure out which mods are best to disable to improve performance. Any help is appreciated, Toovey
