  1. Wow thank you for such a detailed response! I can see you really take this seriously. I appreciate all the hard work you've put into STEP.
  2. Interesting, that's pretty helpful. What was the theory behind removing explicitly placing the mods in their respective sections before the Bash Patch, as in STEP 2.2.8? In 2.2.8, you can find Dual Sheath Redux in 2.J: Double Cursor Fix , Dual Sheath Redux , Fast Travel Timescale Fix But it's not explicitly said to be installed anywhere in 2.9, instead it only references the addon to be patched in the patches section. FNIS in 2.J too: Finer Dust , Fores New Idles in Skyrim , Improved Weapon Impact Effects Yet in 2.2.9, it doesn't explicitly say for FNIS installed anywhere, then the patches section states that it requires a patch. Sorry if I'm being pedantic, but I am fairly new to Skyrim and I was trying to follow the guide as explicitly as possible.
  3. SDR, Better Shaped Weapons, and Fores New Idles are not working. I have created the patch, but as per the guide's ambiguity I have placed the mod and the patch after the Bash Patch, is this correct procedure? The subheading under section 2N says "Mods that patch the STEP mod lineup.", but these mods are nowhere to be found in the lineup, except that they are seemingly self-referenced in the patch section. What am I doing wrong? The tail end of my MO order is: STEP patch Bash Patch Dual Sheath Redux Dual Sheath Redux Patch Better Shaped Weapons Fores New Idles Skyrim FNIS Patch
  4. Well, I am having the same issue. I have nothing entitled "Skyproc" in MO. So, I am failing at the first step. Am I supposed to install DSR before I start the tutorial here? https://wiki.step-project.com/Dual_Sheath_Redux
  5. Thank you for the clarification. I am pretty new to Skyrim modding. I wasn't sure if the patch was a patched version of the DLL the way it used to be. Thanks again.
  6. I think your issue is the same one I was having, for your Serious HD mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2146/?), the guide recommends the 1024 version and it looks like you've downloaded the 2k. When I first started the game up after modding it and I looked at large vast scenes, particularly including mountains and/or rocks, the game would drop in performance significantly. My first attempt to fix the game was by replacing the 2k version to the recommended 1k. For me, this was the fix. I've got a GTX 760 and a GTX 275, and 12 GB RAM, as well as an Intel i7. I hope this works for you, let me know.
  7. Can someone tell me what the current practice is to patch the memory in SKSE?
  8. How do I use the memory patch included in SKSE for "Burn Freeze Shock"? There aren't any detailed instructions on https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9. Thank you in advance
  9. I appreciate the clarification, that was super fast. I guess it seems impossible for me to understand how you could have installed SKSE into the MO without having it create a folder for you, perhaps the wording could be revised? Thanks again!
  10. Sorry I am a total newb, and the directions aren't quite clear enough for me: https://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender#Recommendations It says for me to: Create the SKSE ini file OR download and install it from here.Right-click the SKSE mod in Mod Organizer and select Open in explorer.Open the SKSE folder or create one if one does not exist. In the SKSE folder, create skse.ini and paste inside it the following:I'm totally confused about the Third step, Do I have to create a separate folder inside of the SKSE folder? So when I open it in MO, i get SKSE/SKSE/skse.ini?
