Turns out the "quick trade" mod was the culprit. Uninstalled it via MO, loaded up my save and everything works fine. Bummer, I really like how convenient that mod is. Thanks Audley and SRB for your help!
It 's interesting, because everything worked fine until I applied LOOT's load order. All of the INI tweaks are there, via MO's utility, and all the conflicting files look to be hidden. In-game, all of PN's features no longer exist (sprint, adjustable zoom, grenade hotkey, etc.)
I finished with F&L last night and ran LOOT to sort my load order and created the bashed patch per instruction. I started my game up just a bit ago and now I get this error when I load my savegame: "There seems to be a problem with your Project Nevada installation because the HUD extensions were not detected" Also, it looks as if the UI is larger than normal, not the darnified size. Is there a way to revert back to my old load order, i.e. undo what LOOT has done?
Hey forums! I'm having a bit of an issue installing this bit: Installation: Get the three main files and the three DLC optional files. Follow these instructions:The More Perks 2_4_6 file cannot be installed by MO, so the archive must be extracted. Then delete the "Docs" folder and repackage into an archive. Install More Perks 2_4_6, More Perks for Dead Money DLC 1_0_9, More Perks for Honest Hearts DLC 1_0_9, More Perks for Old World Blues DLC 1_0_5, More Perks for Companions 1_0_6, and More Traits 1_1_5 and make sure each mod goes into "More Perks" and select [Merge] when asked. In Mod Organizer's left pane double-click the mod and in the pop-up box select the Filetree tab. Expand Sound->Voice->More Perks for Honest Hearts.esm and rename it to More Perks.esm. Expand Sound->Voice->More Perks For Companions.esm and rename it to More Perks.esm. Expand Sound->Voice->More Traits.esm and rename it to More Perks.esm. Go to the Optional ESPs tab and move all plugins to the "Optional ESPs" box. When trying to rename these files I get a box that says "The name "More Perks.esm" can not be used. How can I fix it?
First off, thanks EssArrBee et al for bringing the STEP framework to New Vegas. The game is new again! I am having an issue with this part of your guide: "LOOT does not sort the ADAM Complete.esp plugins properly, follow these instructions: Run LOOT through MO executable dropdown.Select the three dots next to "ADAM Complete.esp" in the right pane and select ''Edit Metadata''.Select "Add new row..." and type "TrooperOverhaul-Dragbody.esp" into the ''Filename'' textbox.Select "Add new row..." and type "RaestlozFactionArmorEnhancement.esp" into the ''Filename'' textbox.Click [Apply] and close LOOT." When starting LOOT I select "Edit Metadata", however I cannot find the ellipses you're referring to. I did notice that "User Metadata Enabled" was not ticked; if that's the case, how do I enable it?
