  1. Wel, I have some errors in the log, and looked most up, none of wich really cause a freeze. Cos it still runs during the freeze and atm it freeze the log doesnt have anything in it. I must say I do use Win8 x64, other too?
  2. Same here tho ;) But its not the loading screens thats the problem, but a freeze, anywhere at any given moment in the game, so even during fights Hell even while just sitting on a chair for a while. Sometimes I have 3hrs of play or sometimes it within minutes. I wish it was just CTD's, cos those I can handle. A freeze needs logoff or a restart. Funny thing is I kept process explorer running for a while and also gpu-z. Most of the time the gpu and cpu are only use 45-55% each O.o
  3. Ugh, now I played 2 hrs without a problem. No errors at all... This gives me kinda a headache to what the problem is >.<
  4. Yeah I doubted that too. I used his, cos of the SRO setup and how he chooses the textures of the rest that overwrites if you use SRO. I didnt use any other part of his setup that isnt in S.T.E.P. Besides the UNP body part, but I used that before already in the normal S.T.E.P. So basicly what I am saying is, I only used his guide to install SRO and the rest I used S.T.E.P. Plus to see what needed cleaning and what not. Ow I use RLO too, but I doubt that its causes it tho, but not sure about that. (since I didnt go in parts yet what is edited) Any way I can make skyrim make logs to see what makes it freeze up?
  5. @MontyMM Yeah I know, I was only saying that for my account, the hardware part that is ;) I just played Skyrim for a while no problems, until I used showracemenu, cos I wasnt really happy with the skintone and that freezed :( Before the menu even showed. I dont know what it is, I ran lots of mods before even s.t.e.p. Never had freezes before until this week when I redid the whole skyrim mods and vanilla etc. Following Neovalen's guide, but not using everything, I think maybe 60% of those? I do use SRO now instead of the normal s.t.e.p. (wich I did before 2 weeks ago), can that be a problem?
  6. @Darkenneko Hell I feel the same, frustrated >.< And I am pretty sure its not the hardware, since vanilla runs fine without any tweaks and or mods and so do other games.
  7. I have the same freeze problem. I only have half the s.t.e.p. mods and a few of my own, but with a clean fresh save I get freezes and I have to use CTRL+ALT+DEL And I do use my SSD for Skyrim, so thats out of the question too. I know better use clean saves etc, but if I load an old save it doesnt freeze somehow, I have no clue why (maybe old scripts that dont freeze the game?) My rig is: Intel Core i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz (watercooled) 16GB ram Windows 8 x64 Club 3D HD6970 2GB (watercooled) not overclocked So its not a temp problem in my case and I use to run Skyrim without a problem. I am trying to figure it out for a few days now and its kinda driving me nuts lol, cant find why it happens. Like others say, Skyrim is around 2,5gb ram usage when it happens. Ow and I dont even get out of helgen keep yet lol, so it happens inside, not even in the world. And yes its at random moments, never at the same place. Greetz Tony
  8. Will check tonight when home. I'm fairly sure not redundant on my machine. Will check ordering. I have no clue why it says that either.Cos I do it after the one it should overwrite, so no idea why it say that. Every other mods goes perfectly except that one. Edit: Hmz.. ok now I am confused lol, now it went to overwrite files all of a sudden :P
  9. Hi Neovalen, I am following your guide and I notice that Silly Level of Detail - Potions and Poisons is set redundant in MO with that order.
