I am another Debian fan. Due to research purposes I am lucky enoguh to be able to work under Linux most of the time. I only keep a Windows partition for gaming purposes.
Three responses (which are very much appreciated), three different solutions :D. I will evaluate them and I will post the one that suits my needs best and I will post a comprehensive reasoning, or try to at least, of why did I favor at the end one among the others :).
Regarding gameplay at high levels, I still find that a mage is not as viable as a melee character (specially against dragons). I was actually looking at mods like Apocalypse (spells), Better/Balanced/Empowered/Migthy magic (magic overhauls), but I still have not decided which of them will be definitive in my load order. Just my two cents.
In the description of forwarding changes from the various DLCs there is a missing word. The description says:
-Â Expand the "00016BB4">"Block 1,-1">"Sub-Block 5,-3" under Rooster at Dawn v1.0.esp and select the "00042249" node.
while it should say:
- Expand "Worldspace">"00016BB4">"Block 1,-1">"Sub-Block 5,-3" under Rooster at Dawn v1.0.esp and select the "00042249" node.
Awesome guide btw!
First of all, congratulations for this amazing guide. I have found a small typo in your guide when carrying forward changes from DLC to Roosters at Down.
It is written: "Expand the "00016BB4">"Block 1,-1">"Sub-Block 5,-3" under Rooster at Dawn v1.0.esp..."
but it should say "Expand "Worldspace" under Rooster at Dawn v1.0.esp and select the "00016BB4" node...." or similar. The Worldspace entry is basically missing.
