  1. updated all the mods to the latest versions as of 2 days ago & because skyui now has the mcm menu I changed some things around, same with the fact that frostfall & climates of tamriel are compatible now I changed some around there too. TRO realistic needs, camping kit, diseases descriptions & hypothermia are replaced by: realistic needs & diseases + patches for improved fishing etc, realistic wildlife loot (realistic setting) + a few of the optional extras & frostfall which all seem to be so much better then the mods they replaced, kind of stunned how much better they are. Also replaced some of the gold/merchant modifying mods new setup is - kuertee gold adjustment +mcm (freaking awesome - so much better then economics of skyrim, for one thing it actually works) erso harder barter 8-4 (more balanced then cutthroat mechants) weighted items leveled bounty rewards expensive investments training costs 2.5x using better level progression & lower skill gain from ERSO & alchemy overhaul alchemy only + skill rate 0.5 to prevent levelling up too quickly - keeps the balance with all the new items to smith and very powerful equipment added into the levelled lists. removed morrowloot & a bunch of others that either didn't work (deja vu for e.g) or had to remove to make room for the new ones, those I *had* to remove weren't very important anyway like blessings altar descriptions or known spells, auto unequip arrows, etc. substituted quickstart for alternate start - live another life (very awesome mod) also replaced back off barbas with back off [subject name here] added player headtracking & a few others warzones is nothing but trouble & i remembered there used to be wars in skyrim which always worked well for me, found a copy of it version 4.6 - using the following - blood coins slow, perks for npcs, waters wars, lore friendly & npcs heal & ressurect; can see combat being vastly improved by these and the little testing i've done has shown the game to be so much more interesting now. had an intimidating traveller from ERSO Rus modules fighting 2 werewolves & the guards outside windhelm. was freaking awesome. using guards guard the player & erso - vendor trainer & quest giver protected. Means I can enjoy the battles without worrying about important npc's kicking the bucket. which was a problem before. changed the horse texture replacer I was using back to bellyaches. Found a lore friendly add-on for monster mod v12 - no more dinosaurs :) Long story short I've changed a heap of things & the game is worlds better because of it. I can still recommend the config I posted here as 100% working but I use a better one now; maybe I'll post again one day with the new config. I am really happy with the new config & all the mods are stable enough and work well enough together that the only updates I can imagine including in the future would be for skyui, frostfall, RWL, RN&D, ERSO & monster mod; or important bug fixes for the mods i use, but only a couple report having any known issues as it is & I won't be checking for updates (or need too) very regularly, maybe once every couple of months. Peace :)
  2. Riften: morning fogs, the rift, TAVE - Riften, 101 bugs, bumpy inn signs, Monster mod 12, TPC, STEP 2.2.0a hopefully these shots are diverse enough to showcase a bit of the games enhanced visuals, the stability of the mod config and some of the gameplay mods content too. If you want to see more screens of the additional content from the gameplay mods you can find them here. Peace. :D
  3. Windhelm: footprints, get snowy, wet & cold, cloaks, winter in skrim, main menu randomizer (sky) moon size tweaks Solitude

  5. more Outdoor lighting & hi -res textures, some scienic shots Stable framerate during combat 3rd person max camera distance, kill move, 1st person, locational damage Â
  6. More indoor lighting & hi res textures  Outdoor lighting & hi -res textures, some scienic shots Â
  7. riverwood, adventurers & travellers, hypothermia, NPC's, no boring wait/sleep menu, midas magic Hadvar, hi res textures, wet & cold, hypothermia
  8. Riverwood area, scienic shots & dragon souls to perks  Â
  9. Screenshots Part 1 of 2 - Skyrealism ENB & Riverwood. I've run around the game stress testing the graphics settings, taking screenshots & testing for mod conflicts & as far as I can tell this mod config is stable & works well. here's a few visually impressive or scenic screenshots as well as a few stability/performance related screenshots. Using Skyrealism - no DOF or SSAO, ultra graphics setting but shadows on high instead of ultra; max view distances, full Hi res (2048-4096) textures, All reflections, AA4x AF16x. The mine near riverwood. Night sky + birds & flocks, day sky + birds & flocks AV wolf
  10. Did some more testing, the game runs perfectly on max view distances, etc using skyrealism no ssao or dof. If I switch to projectenb cinematic for CoT, no ssao or dof & use it with the project M.A.T.S.O SSAA files (which significantly increases the visual enhancements of the enb) I have to reduce the view distances but can otherwise leave everything else on ultra settings and the game still runs perfectly. I might test it with the wilds enb also as I think it would demand about the same resources from the pc. good to know that not only does the mod config work but its versatile when it comes to enb choices. made a couple of last minute changes to my own config but nothing significant enough to edit the mod config posted here. the changes were - removing 15 extra warpaints mod - the warpaints are for female characters only and I don't play as female characters, asides from that its a decent mod. I also added a couple more texture replacers - detailed rugs, better embers, dead hanging hare 2048 (up from 1024) & hi res bunnies original black. I also added a couple of small esp mods - the woodcutters wife, blaze of eventide (add this mod to automatic variants exclude list) & finally, I am experimenting with using BFS effects & soul gems differ mods again to see if the errors they have effect performance or stability, so far all good, no negative impacts noticed. Peace. Edit to add: if using project enb it recommends a in-game brightness setting of 5 (default is 10). if this makes your shadows too dark using the STEP tweak setting of 2, increase to 3-6.
  11. I'm not sure which of the following removed mods made the difference: BFSEffectsSkyrimCoinReplacermorevillageanimalsBetterQuestObjectiveswars in skyrimrabbits plussoul gems differeconomics of skyrimmy home is your homeskyhighrimBut after removing them I can now play skyrim with the mod config detailed in the previous post at ultra graphics setting - max view distances + double view distance grass (7000 to 14000). shadows on high, distant objects on ultra, decals on ultra, radial blur high, textures high, all reflections, no distant detail fade, & unoptimized hi - res textures at a steady 55-60fps with skyrealism enb (no ssao no dof) AF=16x & AA=4x. Which is better then I'd ever hoped for. The game looks awesome and run smoothly & consistantly & I was able to keep most of my favourite mods. no stuttering, no freezes, no crashing. If the game continues to run like this then I've finished the project & will no longer be changing mods around or working on this config. even if I do get some stutters freezes or crashes I'm sure it will be only be because of too high a demand on my PC graphics wise in which case I'd just need to adjust the view distances. I may swap some of the mods around or add some more texture replacers to my own game but as it stands the mega modded skyrim config is stable & finished. Cool :) P.S) screenshots on the way. Edit to add:economics of skyrim sounded like a cool idea with the regional and racial modifiers but many commented problems with it on skyrim nexus - in this mod config its been replaced with a combination of - ERSO harder barter 8-4, levelled bounty rewards, reduced gold rewards for quests, training costs x2 & expensive investments. this should help prevent having too much gold, as that was a problem in the vanilla game. I remember I hit 100k of septims by level 35-40 in the vanilla version & had nothing to spend it on & excess gear I couldn't sell.

  13. asides from the fact that i've already said some screens will be uploaded soon, what exactly do you want pics of? 90% of the texture & mesh replacers are covered by the screenshots in the STEP pack or on the mods skyrimnexus page, the majority of mods I've added are gameplay mechanic changing in nature & the weapon/armor/enemy additions all have screenshots at the page you download the mod from. I've already got a bunch of screens of me playing the game ready to upload I'm just waiting until I've finished testing the game and can say that "this mod config of 255 mods works, the game runs well & the project is finished." whats the point in posting screens of a broken game that no one can play? I'd rather wait until its finished & solid. speaking of which, its almost done. also this thread's purpose is to provide a list of mods that work together for anyone interested in maxing out their mod list on skyrim. and the next post is going to have active links for every mod so people can look through the list and pick and mix or download the whole thing and run the whole mod config on their own games. Peace.
  14. Mods with errors identified by BOSS, comments at skynexus or the STEP team; that I am no longer using: BFSEffectsSkyrimCoinReplacermorevillageanimalsBetterQuestObjectiveswars in skyrimrabbits plussoul gems differeconomics of skyrimmy home is your homeskyhighrimMods with errors that are now either cleaned or that I haven't had issues with or which have only minor errors that don't affect stability/performance; these are mods I'm still using: cartographers map markerspopulated cities *comments on skynexus report bugs but I haven't had any of them yetenhanced blood (latest version seems to work fine)ice floesbetter dynamic snow1nivwicskycloakspatchcloaksbirds & flocks (cleaned)ants in my pantsskybirds *comments on skynexus report bugs but I haven't had any of them yetbirds of skyrim *comments on skynexus report bugs but I haven't had any of them yetarrows of magickaclanking armor (cleaned)remove ambient interior fog v2 (cleaned)climates of tamriel (esm)pets of skyrim *reported to need cleaning but I haven't had any issues with them yetsaw the errors listed in boss for the mods with errors every time I installed but never bothered to do anything about them, should have a more stable game now that I've gotten around to fixing some of this stuff. will post final working list of mods in a week or so with screens as mentioned before. Peace.
  15. switched to skyrealism, turned off fixes, ssao, dof, black bars. ran with un-optimized textures & fov of 80-90, launcher settings same as mentioned before, got random crashes & stuttering. removed a few mods, optimized textures & fov of 75, maximum view distance - no crashes for 2hrs; and whats really surprising is I've had no stuttering either & I'm running automatic variants with every av pack available & using the deadly spell impacts esp both which used to cause crashes or freezing even after optimizing the textures. The only stuttering I got was just before the game crashed which was just as I approached the giant at whiterun though I was using true giants, I think if I get rid of the true giants mod that should fix the pretty consistent crashes I was getting there. also giving my pc a clean & getting all the dust out will probably help overall as well, the fans are pretty dirty. I will do some more testing over the week but I think I've finally got a stable game that runs well with 240+ mods & many many texture/mesh/sound/script/interface & animation replacers. :) Also, since I have a backed up textures folder handy I'm going to experiment with different optimization settings to see if I can reduce some of the more obvious compression artifacts/degredation on some of the optimized textures and still have a game that runs well. Screenshots and a final list of mods on the way. I'll have screens of before & after the texture optimizing and screens of project enb & skyrealism enb. most of the screens i've taken already, but I may as well post them with the mod list when i'm done tweaking things seeing as I've nearly got it 100% sorted. Peace :)
  16. damn, wish I'd gotten to your post before deciding to do a fresh install but the game bugged out completely anyway, it always does if i add/remove too many mods, probably something to do with adding and removing scripts or something else I don't fully understand. Thankyou for the reply, I think I'm going to save myself future headaches and remove parallax also. Peace.
  17. trying out skyrealism again, I did the amd card tweaks as step instructs then while testing I had a freeze at jeremiahs camp (camping lite mod) near whiterun while using project enb, switched back to skyrealism no freezing or crashes yet. not using ssao, black bars or dof. now I'm in whiterun and having really weird parallax issues around the skyforge. a while ago I backed up my textures folder & optimized the textures when my game was running poorly, and then reverted back to the back up higher res textures again when I got it running good again; I thought this might be the cause so I copied over the architecture meshes & textures from the texture pack combiner folder which should fix any issues caused by optimization or replacing textures. but I'm still getting the weird effects. here are some screenshots of the problem, look at the upside down pyramid shape that appears and dissapears on the texture directly above the skyforge, this texture scrolls upward on that mesh surface as you move left and right while looking at it. the curved pillar things on the left and the right of the skyforge also have a scrolling texture effect. it doesn't look right when close or far from the objects & doesn't seem a natural parallax effect, at least when compared to effects seen on walls & the ground around whiterun. effect of the pillars on the side of the forge effect of the texture/mesh directly above the forge Any ideas whats going on there? EDIT- actually after running around whiterun checking the parallax on the walls etc, they all seem stuffed up, scrolling wall textures etc, not sure how to fix it...
  18. still not using - https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17353 revenge of colette due to conflicts with perks may not be able to use ace magic either if found to be cause of freezes while using magic. still uncertain as to whether deadly spell impacts esp is necessary.
  19. made a stupid mistake - didn't bother to check for certain which mod introduced the casting forms/magic stances, turns out it was ace - magic and not collettes revenge. So of course it wasn't that collettes revenge was causing the freezing & wouldn't uninstall properly, it was that it wasn't the mod in question XD will test further to see if the casting forms are causing the freezing but I don't seem to get freezes if i use magic without them activated so I think for some reason they are. peace. :)
  20. I find these results strange as SkyRealism has always been the most stable and performance easy ENB that I've tested. I've got this same feedback from all others that have used SkyRealism as well to support my testing....until now. :? You're honestly the first I have heard that had issues with SkyRealism other than not liking the presets.did any of them manually disable SSAO & DOF from the ini and manually activate forced anistropic filtering from the .ini? because I believe thats part of the cause of the ctds/freezes I was experiencing. skyrealism by default isn't configured for forced anistropic or no ssao, no dof. It also has detailed shadows & vinigrette (black bars) activated by default. If you use project enb cinematic + extreme performance patch, it has detailed shadows, black bars, dof & ssao disabled by default. the only tweak I have to make for project enb+extreme performance patch is to change forced anistropic from 8x to 16x. maybe its a placebo effect but I trusted project enb to run better due to the less tweaks needed, & less active enhancements then skyrealism, it also states in the project enb readme that it can handle the anistropic better then the skyrim game itself & has indepth instructions regarding install & the performance options. So i find having the more comprehensive readme & options available with project reassuring also. For me the DOF from skyrealism & the black bars was what I found appealing about it, so when I found I had to disable DOF in order to play the game both due to CTDs/freezes and simply it being distracting during combat, I went back to project enb. I also find the nights are brighter in project enb then they are in skyrealism and this suits me also. I like the added darkness of CoT, but found it too difficult to get a setting I liked using skyrealism. Peace :) P.S) in terms of crashes skyrealism was fine 99% of the time. but when i was using it with the aforementioned tweaks in the dense forest of the rift, with the monster mod+monster wars, wars in skyrim & bellyaches new dragons mod active, I had a dragon from bellyaches mod fly into the air this activated about 20 or so enemies in the nearby area and as all the red dots appeared on the compass the game crashed. I also was riding a horse at the time & had one companion on a horse as i was trying out the horse combat features of convenient horses. I had to adjust wars in skyrim to low spawns, remove monster wars completely & revert to the project enb+extreme performance patch to stop the crashes. then I removed bellyaches mod completely, though while it was active it was a good way to test what the game could handle in terms of massive battles involving many npcs beyond the view distance slider ranges that were being activated for battle due to the dragon flying around; it was a good stress test for the game. so switching back to project enb was part of a solution for a specific problem I was having i.e. dragons+new npc/enemy mods+horses & companions, but one that was likely to occur alot while playing the game. also I hadn't optimized the textures at that point either so I haven't tested the 2 enbs in that area of the map with optimized textures yet. though i'd need a dragon flying around to properly stress test the game. Also I was trying to use a magic stance from the collettes magic mod with the mod disabled (it doesn't uninstall properly & I thought I still had it installed as I still had the magic stance available to use in game) and that too may have caused/contributed to the crashes/freeze's I was getting at the time. I can't be sure till I do some more testing.
  21. Some of the following changes may have already been covered earlier in this thread but its hard to keep track of it all so here's the recent changes made to the install; the more I explore skyrim and play the game the more I learn about different mods & can fine tune the modlist for a (hopefully) perfectly running game with zero crashes or freeze ups. so far so good. here are the new changes. added the following without any problems so far - Current WyreBash List- Using ENB 119 with Project ENB cinematic & performance plus option - was using skyrealism with SSAO & DOF switched off, but the differences with it on or off where barely noticable & the game seems to run better in general using project enb with the same options activated so I switched to project enb & am no longer getting the crashes I was before. I find I actually prefer the colour/tone changes provided by project enb compared to the vanilla style look of skyrealism once you take SSAO & DOF out of the picture. Card graphics settings= as recommended by step & AA+AF set to 'use application settings'. Launcher Graphics Settings - AA=4x, AF=none (forced by project enb to 16x), textures, radial blur & shadows set to high, decals set to ultra, no fxaa, all reflections Launcher Slider settings (starting at the top left with object fade) - 10, 9, 7, 10, 25, 8Â object detail ultra, object detail fade on. If experiencing crashes during combat in dense forest areas like the lake near riften & the surrounding area while using the above settings you can optimize your textures with the optimzer on the minimum/skyrim setting, activating also the texture resize option and setting it to "if >2048". remember to backup your textures folder first so that you can add back the hi-res textures for areas of the game where they aren't causing trouble i.e. NPC clothes textures or indoor architecture, etc. its usually enemy & landscape textures that seem to cause my game to stutter, freeze or crash. Screenshots on the way. Also when I am finished tweaking this mod install I'll do another post like the first one listing every mesh/sound/texture replacer, script/skse/asi/interface mods/replacers & all the esm/esp mods. I've made many changes to the first list posted and the next time I post a full list it will be one that works 100%. Peace. :)
  22. or alot of patience, a month of free time & 100gb's of downloads on a high speed connection. :)
