Thanks for the precision. It took me a while to find a viable solution.

Concerning the driver update advice: There seems to be an issue with the latest drivers with ati HD7800 series as seen in .It can easily be fixed by downgrading to the 12.6 catalyst driver. I hope it's the right place to put this.
