Oh, this is so annoying. I can't continue the game. I've got to a point from the old save where I'm to level up to level 5. When I click done after choosing a perk the game immediately hangs and freezes. How can I get past this point? I've tried absolutely everything. Even tried to run the game in compatibility mode. No luck. Damn.

That situation with the level up would not go away so I had to go back to a save that didn't have the bashed patch. Maybe the patch got corrupted or something. Anyway, I will see what happens when I level up from the old save with no bashed patch. I had to do it this way because the saves with the bashed patch wouldn't even load. I hope I didn't screw the game up. I would hate to start all over again. Here's hoping.

All my auto saves are off. I use CASM . So, should I have no auto save option with CASM either? Also when you say escape out of auto reload what do you mean exactly? Use Task Manager? I have just observed another issue and possibly may be connected. I am near Mr Manchesters house. I have killed off a number of raiders which caused a level up. When I click my chosen perk the game freezes. Thanks again Kelmych for your quick response. You never disappoint.

Title states it all. It happens every time. I have to alt-cntl-del to shut down using task manager every time. Game modded according to guide. I am also running Windows 10. If you need more specs I'll supply them. Any ideas or fixes?

I don't know what weapon replaced zealotlee's, but whichever one it was, was in the bashed patch. I just placed ZL MP5 pack.esp beneath the bashed patch and it worked. When I tried to do the console thingy it would not work. I mean I got the console up using the tilde key. However, when I clicked on the weapon on the ground it gave me the same value wherever I clicked (ie: 00000014), anywhere. I'm assuming that value refers to fallout3.esm, right? I made sure I was looking directly at the MP5 before I turned on the console too. What am I doing wrong there? Thanks for taking the time explaining this for me. I will do that Kelmych. Thank you for explaining this for me. When I do find out what mod is the winner will I be able to change load order without messing up too many other things or do you recommend staying true to the guide?

I modded my game following the instructions in the guide. I have almost all mods installed following the precise instructions. For some reason the only problem I'm seeming to have so far is that the MP 5s do not use the ironsights. Any ideas?

I don't have all the DLC just Dawnguard. I'm at Step 2a. There are 2 STEP patches to download (Core and extended). Both require all DLC. I obviously can't install either. What do I do and what will be the effect? Can I still follow the guide or will something be broken and not work right? Work-around?
