  1. Hi sheson, Your updated scripts seem to have worked ok - the generation finished with no error messages, and as far as I can tell from a New Game start, and up to the execution point, the game appears to be running ok, and there are no major oddities that I can see in the LOD. Thank you for taking the time and trouble to help. Nark
  2. Hi sheson, Interim update - I have started the DynLOD Worlds run, and did not get the immediate error this time Two questions: (1) DynDOLOD.esp isn't last in my load order because I have a Bashed Patch,0.esp and LOOT has sorted that to be last - is this a problem? (2) There's an option box to use scripts in subdirectories too - as you have provided a replacement lib directory, should that checkbox also be checked? I will update you properly once the script finishes running. Thanks for your incredible work on this. Mark

  4. Yes, it's correctly named and located in P:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\TES5Edit\ The output of the script is apparently too long to post here in spoiler tags. I checked, and I did remember to press "Shift" when selecting the files at the start. 5. I'm attempting a STEP Extended setup on a brand new re-installation of Skyrim, following the v2.9.2.2 Wiki. I've finally fought my way down to the bottom of the installation, to fall at the last hurdle, it seems. Mod organizer v1.3.11 being used to organise the mods. I struggled a bit to get the STEP compilation to install the Extended version - despite all ESPs being present (I read every list I could find at least three times) it didn't want to let me install the Extended version but eventually seemed to. However, that may be a clue to the following. (It would be really helpful if the FOMOD installer could highlight what *IT* thought was missing when run). When attempting to run the DynLOD Worlds script, I get the following error message in Tes5Edit: "DynDOLOD Worlds 1.48 using TES5LODGen by Ehamloptiran, Sheson and Zilav, starting... Exception in unit userscript line 332: Invalid argument to date encode" The only thing that occurs to me is that, being British, it may be mis-reading my day and month fields for the date as they are swapped relative to the US ones, and it would get very confused by a "Month 13"... Any suggestions?
  6. Thanks - now I *know* I've been at this too long today. I forgot the checkbox. How do you remove a mispleading and idiotic post?
  7. Note: This may have existed in the preview stages of Windows 10, but I didn't run FNIS during the time I was testing the preview and so used my pre-existing Windows-7-Generated setup, which worked. Problem: When I run FNIS (FINS Behaviour v5_5 and the corresponding fix 1 file, merged), I get the following error message: "GenerateFNISForUsers.exe - This application could not be started. This application could not be started. Do you want to view information about this issue? Yes/No" Clicking "Yes" repeats the error message exactly as a second popup, and links to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2715633 which is entitled "Shim errors for the .NET Framework version and platform support" Attempting to enable .NET 3.5.1 within Windows and rebooting has not changed the error message. Any suggestions to try next, please?
  8. Thanks Neovalen - that appears to solve the problem perfectly. Might be a good idea to add the hotfrix to the Wiki page as it's not mentioned there? Edit - idiocy removal.
  9. Oddly, I was about to post a very similar question. I'm attempting an installation of STEP 2.2.9.1 and am also having problems with the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch not seeing the (installed and checked) Unofficial Skyrim Patch. I have successfully been using STEP 2.2.8 on my Windows 7 x64/10 x64 dual boot system until recently, when i decided to update the latest STEP. The entire installation (other than the Java runtime, which is in its default location) is on a separate hard drive partition, well away from UAC effects. I have reinstalled a base install of Skyrim with all DLCs via Steam and followed (as far as I can tell) the STEP 2.2.9.1 guide. I've tried using both the external and internal FOMOD installers for the Dual Blades Redux mod, with no improvement in the message given when generating the patch. If it helps for debugging, I'm willing to let someone log on with Teamviewer to have a look at my installation, and attempt to puzzle out what's wrong. Advice please?
