  1. Man, the problem is, you can't simple activate hundreds of mods, many of them being scripted mods or textures mods and do not have trouble.I can tell you, it is none related to be a 32 bits application, or even Skyrim engine, even if you have a monster machine it will not help much. We know this game engine do not takes well huge modifications, but in any game, if you install 200+ mods, you can be sure you will have CTDs, freezing... (and you told us about mods which has ESPs, you have 300 activated plugins, but there many mods which haven't ESPs, so your mod list is probably bigger). You can't wait an almost "open source" game like Skyrim to be the example of stability, the producers must to leave a lot of things "open" for edit. And because of this, you can't compare Skyrim stability to other games which naturally do not support mods. If Bethesda wanted the Elder Scrolls to be the example stability, they would close the natural mods support, and you would have no bugs at all. The modders can indeed make some modifications to the game with the Creation Kit, this way removing the mod limit as well, but it doesn't mean the game will be stable, there are things which cannot be changed. Try to put 200+ mods in any game which has mod supports, the game will crash for certain. I think Skyrim and Fallout handle mods very well comparing to other games. So there is no way out, as some friends said above, you will have to shave down the mods number, it is not a big deal. I once had 247 mods installed in my game, but later I saw there were many of them which I was not using, and easily reduced my number for 165 mods (counting the mods with ESPs and no ESPs, mods with no ESPs I mean texture mods, meshes mods, ENB, some bug fixes...), today my game is much more stable and I do not miss any mod I removed. But of course your actual savegame will be compromised, and reducing a significant number of mods for sure will brake it, so its your choice. 1- You can have a stable game, starting  new game. 2- You can keep your savegame and have stress everyday (or every minutes with CTDs). It is always this way, you can install 300+ mods, play a lot, and your game does not show any problems, so you think it is alright. But as you progress in the game, the CTDs, freezings and Infinte Load Screens becomes more constant, until the game finally breaks. I had dozens of broken save games (Chars in level 45, 60, 70, 80), and it is usually when you hit around level 40, the problems start to appear. So it is better to cut down a good number before starting a game than wait to see.
  2. Many scripted mods can be removed from saves, but not all. I think creating an application to completely clean your savegame can be done, but always there will be exceptions, for example, an overhaul, such as Skyrim Redone, it is impossible to remove once a save started in it, "the world was built under its rules", so you can't simply take it away, everything you did had its hand, it is like "killing the creator, the universe falls". For sure creating an application for managing savegames would be good, but a lot of exceptions would take place.
  3. That's right, Skyrim does not take significant advantage in Sli or Crossfire (when we talk about FPS), it has about the same FPS with one card only. Regarding the memory, your SLI is quite good for high resolution and 2k/4k texture mods, and yes, the memory is used in both cards regardless of SLI or not, it will avoid a lot of CTDs. My last videocard was an AMD HD 6950 2GB and I could run 2k textures with no problem, of course in 1280x1024, now with my HD 7950 3GB, I can run the same 2k textures + enb in 1920x1080 ultra settings and get a very good FPS with no CTDs. Assuming the GTX 670 and HD 7950 have the same perfomance (losing in some tests, winning in others), you are very good for now because you have two GTX 670 and a total of 4GB VRam. But if you got the balls to change it, it is yout choice.
  4. I don't think your videocard is the villain, 4k textures is too much for any graphic card if it isn't a top high end videocard (Those ones with 4 to 6 GB VRam), mainly if you are running in 1920x1080 resolution. I use HD 2K textures + Project Parallax + aMidianBorn Landscapes + RealVision ENB + Enhanced Lights and FX and etc. It is a total of 60 2K textures and visual mods. I also use max view distance with uGrids 7. My video card which it is an ATI 7950 3GB, runs it smoothly around 40-50 FPS, 30-40 FPS in big wars in 1920x1080 ultra settings, the VRam usage never passes the 2.6GB. I think 2K textures it is already beautiful enough for me. If you want to use 4k textures, I suggest buying a stronger videocard with more memory. My brother notebook has a NVidia GTX 770m 3GB DDR5, his notebook can't handle 4k textures either, it gets CTDs. If you reduced the textures and the problem persists, for sure it is another mod. 1- Wet and Cold - I used in the past 2- Player Headtracking - I used in the past These above are know for stressing SKSE Papyrus scripts. The second on cannot be taken from a savegame once it is there, a new game must to be started. Enhanced Blood Textures - I used in the past This mod is know for causing some problems too. It runs some scripts... Automatic Variants - Never used, but people say it has some conflicts It may eventually conflict with a long mod list as yours. What I can say is, your mod list is big, but I'm not so far as well. I'm almost sure it is a mod conflict, if it isn't, Skyrim is asking for mercy, it is not very well-known by working with a long mod list which has dozens of heavy scripted mods.
  5. That's good man, I didn't know this mod, I will definitely try it.
  6. Hey Guys, Taking advantage on this post, I would like to make my first question as a STEP member. Yesterday I made a full clean install of Skyrim after having many game breaks and save losses in the last install. This new installation took me hours of job (about 6 hours) for to download and setup everything. But I could play a bit already, since I'm on vacation from job, I played about 3 hours, got to level 8, and I had already one crash. (And as always, the CTDs becomes more constant with the game progression. Despite I use 2k texture, Project Parallax, ENB and light mods in everything, the VRam usage NEVER passes the 2.6GB from 3GB, so, it is not textures). As my friend above, I did everything with NMM, and one of the things I always seeked in NMM is the mod isolation, and not overwrite, I think it brings much more stability for the game. I came across STEP Commnuity and found out that MO has it, I so much heard about MO but never wanted to try, now I want to remake my skyrim install with MO. My Skyrim is heavy modded, and since so many ages I came searching for a new way to make my Skyrim stable, I see people running +200 mods with no problems, I install around 150, being around 15 scripted mods only, and everything falls. I see Gopher videos, he runs so many mods without problems, which makes me want to cry. T-T (I have almost the same list as his) I'm not a new in modding, I heavily mod my games since Oblivion and Fallout 3, and in Skyrim I clean mods with Te5Edit, sort them in BOSS, Bashed Patch in Wrye Bash, but in the end of all things, it has no other way, my game always brakes. I'm not used to include scripted mods in a running save game and even less take them out, I already get scared of what an update can cause. :D And besides installing mods with NMM, I never run mods in the STEP Community "blacklist". The thing is: Do I need to reinstall skyrim, or is it only necessary to uninstall all the mods? About the files (.zip, .rar, .7zip) I already downloaded with NMM, if I place them in MO folder can I install them without any problems? About my already existing savegame, if I install the same mods with MO, I can play it without any problems, right? Thanks!
