  1. I did get it fixed by going into the test hall and waiting 30 days. I think what Daedric Prince mentioned regarding the DDL needing to be refreshed is essentially what I did by waiting the 30 days. The issue no longer exists. I will take your advice also and set it to 4064. I got that info about subtracting 350MB from the following link https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBlocal_INI/Memory Under the section titled VideoMemorySizeMb it mentions the formula. I just went with it. I'd sure like to have access to all 6GB my vram and I'll be picking up a GTX 1070 with 8GB of vram as soon as MSI puts one out that's not based on the reference card design. I've read Windows 7 allows dx9 to access more than 4GB of vram. Is that true? Would it be worth having a dual boot with a Win 7 installation? I play this game more than any other and I'd be willing to set up a Win 7 if it would benefit this game. Thanks again.
  2. I was able to fix my save game by going into the test hall and waiting 30 days. Now, everything looks great. Interesting to see what all those missing structures were. I had no idea a whole little village was there. Again, I appreciate your help.
  3. The issue is not memory related. It is something in my save game. I started a new game, leaving all settings as they were and picked I was a patron at an Inn and then chose Winking Skeever in Solitude as my starting location to quickly get to Solitude. When I walk out of Solitude everything is there as it should be. No floating grass or trees or missing buildings. So, the conflict is something in my old save and not memory related. I should be able to troubleshoot from here. I appreciate all your help.
  4. I mistyped my enblocal. It is set to 3714. Per the guide for Windows 10 it's 4064 - 350 = 3714. I have 16GB of system ram but Skyrim can only use 4GB. Is that correct? Why is Skyrim using system memory in this one spot instead of video memory? It is using under 3GB of my vram here. It does not make sense. And why would that cause trees and grass to float above the ground? I will run the game using lesser settings and see what happens.
  5. I finished reinstalling/updating my SRLE. Sadly, the problem still exists except now I can see windows floating for buildings that should be there and I can also see small floating flames. Very strange stuff. I don't think it is memory related. I have gtx 980ti with 6GB over vram. Due to the way Windows 10 caps vram on 32 bit dx9 games I can use only 4GB. All that is set correctly to 3071 in my enblocal using the formula in the guide. In this area, I'm using under 3GB. As a comparison, I've included a snapshot of outside Whiterun which uses more vram and looks fantastic. Here is the link again to my Google Drive with the images. Images 1,2, and 3 are the original images from my original post. 4,5, and 6 are the new screenshots. Image 7 is of Whiterun looking beautiful. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-asu3UJkcUXUUU4WTAzMWhYNDg Thanks for your help.
  6. The BSAs are checked and everything seems to be deselected as far as ESP files after merging. I'v saved the guide of June 11th as a PDF so I will have a frozen version of the guide as it was when I installed the mods since the guide is always changing. I'm going to go through and delete mods no longer in the guide, update any outdated mods, and install any new mods. Merge mods that require it etc. Essentially redo the setup as if it was a fresh install. My save game my end up not working but that's OK. Something was tweaking out that area for sure. Maybe a worldspace conflict or something. I'll update if the issue is gone or still there after I finish the update.
  7. Apologies for that. Those were supposed to display the larger image when clicked. Here is a link to a shared folder on my Google Drive with the images inside. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-asu3UJkcUXUUU4WTAzMWhYNDg
  8. I've been playing on this latest install for a while. It is a pure SRLE installation based off the guide in mid May. I've been around to various areas of the map doing little quests and everything looks beautiful. But, when I took a carriage ride to Solitude so I could hike to Statue of Meridia. It was during this that I noticed all this weirdness. Has anyone encountered this before? So far, this is the only area with this happening. I appreciate any help.

  10. I am just so happy to get it resolved. I have no idea why that service would cause that to happen. Thankfully that service didn't seem to interfere with Fallout 4 at all. I've put a lot of hours into that game and haven't had an issue yet. Happy to be playing Skyrim again tho.
  11. I found the solution and the issue seems to be resolved. Thank you to everyone who helped out. To quickly answer Electrocutor's last question, all the settings matched except EnableOcclusionCulling was set to false. After setting that to true the issue remained. I then started timing how long it took to crash. Skyrim Performance Monitor has a timer so I used it again. After about 6 times the game would CTD at 15.44-15.50 Factoring in that the 44-50 seconds was start-up time I cleverly (jk) deduced that the game was crashing at 15 minutes exactly. So, I Googled Skyrim crashes after 15 minutes and the first result had the answer. The crash is related to Windows 10 and the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting service. I don't know if this service just auto starts with a fresh Windows 10 install or not. I definitely use the service with Splashtop Streamer and my Wacom Tablet so the service may have only been in use for me because of the way I use my PC. So, simply going in to task manager, then Services tab, and I sorted by the Description column and found Touch Keyboard and Handwriting, right clicked on the service and chose stop. Since doing this, I've played a few 3 hour or more sessions without an issue. To double-check, I re-enabled the service and the CTD came back. So, I am 100% percent this was the issue. Or, the last remaining issue. I still had some fields wrong in my Enblocal.ini and so forth that all of you helped me iron out. Again, thanks to everyone. I'm marking this solved. All of your answers contributed to the solution and if I could mark them all Best Answer I would. I encourage anyone who finds this thread by searching their issue to read it from beginning to end to cover possible scenarios.
  12. I made the changes suggested by Nebulous and I still ended up with the same CTD. I think starting with vanilla and adding chunks at a time is a good method to try going forward. Before I start that, I was wondering if anyone could possibly make sense of a Papyrus log? I enabled Papyrus logging and upon viewing the results I see the word "error" a lot! And, a script issue may make sense since all the other testing of vram usage, cpu usage, etc all come back fine. The log is difficult to read because the formatting is terrible. Using Notepad++ helps the formatting quite a bit. I happened upon a utility on Nexus called Papyrus Log Viewer that does an outstanding job of organizing the log. If interested here is the link to that utility on Nexus https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42815/? The Papyrus.log is almost 4MB so I cant attach it here and its way too long to post in-body even with spoiler tag. So I am providing a link to the file on my google drive which is https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-asu3UJkcUXRklfTXo0WS1pZzQ/view?usp=sharing Here is just a quick screenshot of the log opened in Papyrus Log Viewer. I see a lot of errors, especially regarding esp files that aren't loaded even though they are activated in MO and activated in the game via MCM. In Papyrus Log Viewer when you click on the error message, more info is presented in that bottom pane. Maybe something here is the key to my issue. Thanks again for all of your help so far.
  13. Thank you. It looks like the Joy of Perspective mod found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6002/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D6002%26preview%3D&pUp=1 just might be a step in the right direction. It doesn't have the complete customization options but, it does offer a lot of stuff. I just have to bring this in to my SRLE setup without messing anything else up. This mod essentially would replace the Enhanced Camera mod in SRLE for sure. I thank you for your help. I never would have searched Combat Animations. I was trying stuff like Default Hand Position. Much appreciated.
  14. Nebulous, thanks for the suggestions. I haven't tested it yet but I will update when I do. Greg, this is a new game. I did try a couple old saves. They were saves after doing a “cleaning in the Test Hall" and they loaded and played but it also CTD after the same amount of time. I tell ya, SRLE is really difficult to pinpoint if its a mod causing the issue. So many of these mods rely on so many others. I can't just disable them one at a time and test.
  15. Quick question. My current install was done using SRLE install but this is a general question not specific to SRLE. I was wondering if there is a setting or perhaps a mod that allows us to adjust the default hand position in first-person view? I may have a mod that can do this already and I just don't know it. Any help would be great. The first image shows as it it looks now which, to me, is stiff looking and too close together. The second image is a marked up image of what I'd like to be able to do.
  16. No problem. I appreciate the help. Here is the enblocal.ini, skyrim.ini, skyrimprefs.ini, and loadorder as they are right now. The only settings that differ from what is suggested in the SRLE guide is enabling fullscreen borderless window in enblocal.ini. That was another attempt to fix this CTD issue. The issue existed before that change. Other than that, it is as suggested. I was curious about the VRAM amount. In the enblocal.ini file prior to now, that setting was always 3072 since my card is a 3GB card. However, 4064 was the result of the DX9 VMSizeTest which I never used prior to this. Probably not the issue if everyone else is using this method to calculate that value. Just thought I would mention that. I appreciate all your help. If there is another log file or anything that would help, please let me know. I forgot to mention that I usually play 1920 x 1080 but I did try 1280 x 720 and got the same CTD. ENBLocal.ini Skyrim.ini (from SRLE ModOrganizer profile) Skyrimprefs.ini (from SRLE ModOrganizer profile) Loadorder EDIT: I misspelled spoiler in the first tag. Embarrassing.
  17. Thanks for responding. I do have that info. Last week I struggled with the issue of getting MemoryBlockLog to recognize the settings set in SKSE.ini. With this forum's help I was able to get it solved by adding the -forcesteamloader argument to SKSE in ModOrganizer. So now, MemoryBlocksLog works fine and has the headers 512/256 and the last entries in the log are 488/178
  18. I am getting a CTD after about 11-12 minutes of play time. The CTD occurs no matter where or what I'm doing. I have tried a lot of different scenarios to see if I could get something I could replicate on purpose but I can't find a common denominator. If I had to compare what I feel like is happening, I'd say its like when I start the game a water faucet starts to drip and as the game runs it drops and drops until the sink overflows and I get a CTD. Lol. Some info about what is happening and what I've tried. Crash occurs indoors, outdoors, with menu up, and even if I just pause the game and wait. I have transported to various regions of the map including the test hall and it still happens. I have waited in-game for various amounts to see if it was like the game clock. (I read about an issue someone else had where the game would crash at a specific time in-game) Running the game with Skyrim Performance Monitor to see some data, none of the numbers match up anywhere across the many CTDs. That is to say, it happens if I'm close to Max VRAM or I have a gig or more left. System memory also doesn't get near max not does CPU%. GPU temp hit 78c bit I see those temps with very intensive games like th Arkham games, Bioshock Infinite, etc. I read the max temp for this card was 110c. So, these temps should be "normal" unless I've misread. The CPU is liquid cooled with Corsair H80i and the case is loaded with Noctua 120mm fans. I am just lost as to what to try and I am hoping somebody may have some insight. SYSTEM SPECS: CPU: AMD 8 Core FX-8350 @ 4.7GHz Maijboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990 FX System Memory: 8GB DD3-1600 G.Skill Ripjaws (7,8,8,24) OS Drive: 240 GB Samsung 850 Pro SSD for OS Gaames Drive: 480 GB Samsung 850 Pro SSD for Games Programs Drive: 256 GB SanDisk Exxtreme Pro SSD for Programs Storage drive: 2 x 1TB Western Digital Black HDD in RAID for storage. GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Classified Edition 3GB VRAM Operating System: Windows 10 x64 Pagefile is 3000 MB (just a note) All help is very appreciative.
  19. Thanks everyone who helped. Adding the argument did ultimately work. I have a new issue that's happening now which I will open another topic for it and make this solved.
  20. I got it to work with the -forcesteamloader argument! I thought I should try that method again since it was mentioned twice now so I removed the SSME and added the memory Settings back into SKSE.ini and added the argument in MO to SKSE and the log is reading as intended. I'm inclined to think I mispelled the argument or somehow messed it up if it works now and didn't the first time I tried. I'm happy now. Thanks again. One last remaining question. In the left lane of MO, MemoryBlockLog near the end right before SR Conflict Resolution. Is that an ideal spot?
  21. I appreciate everyone's help. I tried the suggestions everyone put forward and unfortunately none solved the issue. I did come up with a solution or perhaps "workaround" is a better term since it strays away from Neovalen's guide just for this one issue. I was doing a lot of searching the net for possible hints to what was happening and it didn't yield much direct help but it did indirectly. The thing that popped up most often was how SKSE now supports memory allocation and I started to think back to how we handled memory issues and such before SKSE supported it because I have been playing this game since day 1 and I try to stop but it pulls me back and of course there are so many new things when I come back. So what I ended up trying was, aI removed the MEMORY section of the SKSE.ini and then used one of the old school methods, the Skyrim System Memory Editor mod. I launched the game through MO and it fired up and I picked the vanilla start from the Alternate Start shrine, slept in the bed and up popped Alduin as usually on the loading screen but he was only there for a couple seconds before the game started. I went through and tried some more choices from Alternate Start and they all fired right up. Another great result was the log from Memoryblocklog showed a 568/256 column header. I'm still bothered by the fact the SKSE.ini method isn't working. I plan to comb back through the mods for any possible setting that could be overwriting SKSE.ini but, I followed Neovalen's guide to the letter and have gone over and over it. I just don't see anything that could mess with that ini file. So that's the update. As of now I'm at least getting past the ILS I was getting but its 5:35am here in Cincinnati and my eyes are burning tired so how it handles lengthy gameplay session will have to wait until later today after I sleep. One more question: is this method a viable long-term method? Will I run into issues for some reason going this route? I can't thank you all enough for helping.
  22. I should add that I am getting an ILS right after sleeping in the bed to activate my chosen Alternate Start and Ive tried a few different choices to see if it would make a difference. Soon as I sleep in the bed the loading screen pops up and its always the dragon perched on the stone base. I've watched that dragon slowly spin and zoom in and out so many times I have dreams about.
  23. Yes, in ModOrganizer I named the mod SKSE so that is why it appears like that.I have changed it to Skyrim Script Extender. I did have Safety Load in the load order after SKSE when I measured and posted my original post. My mods are everything in Skyrim Revisited exactly. Safety Mod was the only additional mod I tried that wasn't part of SRLE. The Safety Load mod is no longer in my order and I am back to Skyrim Revisited Legendary Edition as it was listed on January 12th. The results are the same however. MemoryBlockLog is not matching my settings in SKSE.
  24. Thank you. Is there something I should do to correct this?
  25. I have set the heap in SKSE.ini to the recommended 768 and 256. When I check logs from MemoryBlockLog the headers for the columns are both 256.I am expecting it say 768 and 256. Am I wrong in that thinking? SKSE log shows that it is set to override memory as well. The attached screenshot show a visual of what I am trying to ask but feel like I'm failing to describe clearly. Thanks for helping.
