  1. I came here to share what was missing for people who have the same issue. So you might find your solution. So Slanglois, yes I found my solution. The "Fake lights child world" was missing and "Upgrade NearGrid to Fargrid" wasn't ticked. I used exactly the settings from above image. Not sure if child lights or near to far setting did the trick, or the combo of it. But my lights are fine now. But I needed to go through all my steps again with every single tutorial image to find my error. After making xLODgen, ACMOS and Texgen forgetting to tick something is human, I guess. Test run was ok, I just have some texture and mesh errors that can be fixed. Esp typo, load order of PBR mods and animated ice, I forgot to install lod fix. Good luck for everybody to fix their window glow, too.
  2. Hi there, I am a bit at my wits end. I have a windows glow LOD issue. They switch off too soon on certain buildings. Seen on Dragonsreach and Winterhold College, but there are probably more. I never had that issue before and trying to fix it with different rules and different values doesn't work. I run my Dyndolod on Dynamic Lod, high, candles and fxglow enabled, window glow + high, far and near is default, 11 and 21. Far to Near is disabled I prefer performance. I tried all kinds of variants of the Settings. Be it dyndolod low, windows glow without the high rule. Dynamic LODs disabled. Far to near, etc. I tried editing the near and far in the MCM and strangely when I edit the value, no matter in which way, the windows switch on again, just for me to walk a distance towards e.g. Dragonsreach again and they switch off again. I can't find any solution that keeps them on. I find that quiet immersion breaking and horrible, that when I approach Winterhold or Dragonsreach suddenly all windows switch off. And I can't remember having that issue ever before. That being said, this is on GOG fully updated and community shaders with PBR, MO2. xLodgen, Texgen and Dyndolod 3 are done without any error warnings and are all on the newest version. I do not use Seasons, but Ultra LODs with EVT. My dyndolod finishes without any post error warning. I would appreciate any insight or help. I am sure it's user error and I just don't know which settings to toggle or which values to edit in what way. Cheers Leeloo Dragonsreach window glow LOD still visible: This is where they switch off:
