NPCs are ghost white and eyes are misaligned

No luck, though disabling tempered skins helped with the paleness. The eye issue seems to be related to lighting. It's like one eye has no shadow and the other eye has too much. -
The only deviation from the guide I made was not installing "The Choice Is Yours". NPCS, mostly Nords, are ghostly pale. This is regardless of the current weather. Indoors they're mostly okay. Is there anything I can adjust to fix it? NPCs' eyes seem to be crossed too.
