  1. Here are my results on the new version with the same ini settings logs
  2. got an opengl error again I'll take a look at those plugins.
  3. So after generating texgen and then dyndolod, I saw red LODs all over the place. I just reran texgen, and looking at some of the generated .dds files that were red, I didn't see mention of texture files not being found for them. An example is imperialforticelod.dds, which had red textures, but the logs don't seem to mention any issues with them. logs I'm going to try rerunning a few times with different settings and will update this comment to avoid spammingthe post if I find anything new.
  4. I realize this may be unrelated, but I didn't get this issue until updating to the newest version you posted. The error is unclear to me what the issue is. I opened it in xEdit and saw no problems, and considering the mod in question is poular (ultimate college of winterhold) and I found no mention of Dyndolod issues with it (the author even suggests using dyndolod i n the description), I'm assuming it's related to the version of texgen you linked. Do you mind relinking the previous test version that worked for me? I should have backed it up, but didn't. logs
  5. failed with my mods loaded here are the logs I checked reachclifftree01_trunk.nif and it seemed to have no textures (it was pink). Is that normal? I was also able to successfully rerun vanilla again, so I don't think it was a fluke. (hopefully final) edit: I was able to run with my mods! I first tried and failed with RenderSingle and RenderTexturesSingleThread, and then once I turned on RenderBillboardsSingleThread it ran through! Here are the logs for those runs.
  6. Sorry for the late response! I hadn't seen your reply. The updated texgen worked! At least on vanilla Skyrim. I'm going to test it on my mod list now. Here are the logs from that run. I'll post again if my modded setup fails. Also, if you need me to continue testing in a Linux environment, I'm happy to continue doing runs with different versions.

  8. I ran these runs in a vanilla setup to make it faster, but the errors were the same so I don't think that should make a difference. I agree that the VR path message is odd, considering I have never used a VR headset with this computer and am using Skyrim SSE, not VR. I closed steam nontheless on both runs.   11. Apologies if this is the wrong place to post, but I am also having OpenGL issues with Texgen. I'm on Linux. I've added the latest version of Texgen and Texconv64 listed in previous posts, and have also added RenderSingle=1 and RenderTexturesSingleThread=1 to my ini file. When I add RenderBillboardsSingleThread=1 Texgen just ends abruptly and says that it completed successfully when it really hasn't. I'll upload logs for all of them. Here is the message I get with RenderSingle=1 and RenderTexturesSingleThread=1 added to my ini (the same message I was getting before adding those lines and before trying the newer versions linked in previous posts). Error: OpenGL: invalid operation while processing Z:\media\zach\External-Storage\Modding\Skyrim SE\tools\DynDOLOD\TexGen_Output\textures\terrain\lodgen\blubbos_cities_seasonsofskyrim.esp\blubbo_riverwood_birch_variation_a02_green2_win_00000862. logs/bug report files when RenderBillboardsSingleThread=1 is NOT on logs when RenderBillboardsSingleThread=1 is turned on. No bug report file is generated.
