"EnableOnlyLoading" I assume. I figured they were GPU artifacts but I don't get them anywhere else so I was a bit puzzled. EnableOnlyLoading was set to false, let's see if it makes a difference! Thanks for the suggestion, I'll report back in a bit. Out of curiosity, what does the flag do? I didn't think SafetyLoad did anything outside the loading screen anyway... @EssArrBee I forgot I changed those. Do they have any effect when SpeedhackWithoutGraphics is set true? I was under the impression the ENB didn't execute anything except Boris's memory helpers if that flag is on. I don't use the ENB for effects, just for the 'fixes' (ENBoost). -

First, big thanks to anyone that actually reads all this and tries to help me. I really appreciate it. Alright, so after alot of testing and finding what mods I like and don't like, etc. I started a fresh install with a set of mods I felt play well together and don't put too much strain on the engine, and actually started playing the game for once. It's been awesome and I'm just about to the golden point of paranoia-free gameplay, but I still have a couple of weird issues I'm hoping a fresh set of eyes can help me figure out. The game crashes seemingly randomly when opening the Magic menu, inventory, or when trading with merchants(merchants haven't caused a crash in a while though). Also every now and then I have weird artifacts on UI elements, like flashy multicolored triangles on map icons and such. Finally, also without pattern, I crash now and then after death when loading a new save. When I open the game back up, the save loads fine. Ok, now here are my details: System: Bloomfield i7 @ 3.8, 12GB DDR3@1800, 2x GTX 460 SLI. The game is, of course, updated to the latest version, as is SKSE.I do not autosave or quicksave. I always save with the console using a unique name, and I clear out saves frequently, backing them up and leaving maybe 15-20 saves in the folder in case I have to go back that far.No mods have been uninstalled or installed for this playthrough. I have been diligent in controlling myself when it comes to keeping a clean install. My textures have been optimized and scaled to a maximum of 1K with AdPipino's "Optimizer Textures" tool. (Also optimized BSAs)Skyrim Performance Monitor suggests that I am not exceeding the infamous 3.1GB engine limit.uGridsToLoad has NEVER been altered on this save.Mods have been cleaned before gameplay with TES5Edit.I periodically 'clean' my save with the Skyrim Save Cleaner from the Nexus.I use a Bash Patch generated with Wrye Bash.I use Nexus Mod Manager.BOSS Log: https://synenose.com/files/BOSSlog.html Just hit "Recognized Plugins" of course. Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini enblocal.ini I have tried to be as thorough as I can here but I'm sure I forgot something...just let me know. I'm cool with starting a new game if I must, but I need to know if it's just my save or do I have some other issue that I haven't noticed. Thanks again! -
Huge FPS drops and slowdowns. please help

Does BOSS complain about navmesh deletions in any of your mods? -
Perhaps craftable cloaks are interfereing with Ars Metallica? I'm not sure how Ars affects crafting lists, but conflicting lists could cause a failure to display the menu...I'm not positive though. Worth a shot to skim over your various crafting mods and just make sure, although I'm sure you've done that already.

Incorrect. The memory is mirrored on both cards so they are using local copies of the same data.Ah yes, my bad, should have wrote total VRAM amount is used. You are correct of course! They are mirrored. They do that on purpose. Programming at the architecture level is f**kin' nightmare for multicard setups with videogames. All those drivers just haven't got there yet and as Nvidia moves more toward GPGPU architecture we might never get a system that allows VRAM to be combined. One thing to consider going forward when building a system is that AMD is in all three consoles, so if you are not going to be using your new pc as a workstation then maybe consider AMD. Devs are probably going to have games that are just optimized better for AMD cards since they will be working with their hardware non-stop. Also, Nvidia seems to be making push toward mobile and GPGPU stuff to cut out Intel, since their Xeon Phi Co-Processors are just amazing. This combined with some research has led me to the R290 as my next upgrade. Just a ridiculous card... -
I have yet to see any concrete proof that autosaves or quicksaves have the capacity to get corrupted from overwrites. I do use the console to save but usually I just overwrite as I go and make backups now and then. Never had any issues.

Incorrect. The memory is mirrored on both cards so they are using local copies of the same data.Oops. My bad. Well then with that in mind if you were looking for a lot of VRAM headroom something like the new AMD 290 or 290x would be a good choice, at 5GB. Also, my SLI cost was quite effective, I bought the second one two years after the first, at great discount. I don't know if that's the case for many others (I'd be interested to know) but I've been very happy with my purchases and the performance they've given me. -

I run two GTX 460's in SLI at the moment. They crunch numbers quicker than a 680, but their real issue is only 1GB VRAM per card. I get my fair share of stuttering during texture swapping, but I can render the scene with all of the ENB post processing eye candy no problem - given I'm not moving around. Recently I've reduced all of my texture sizes to save VRAM and make up the quality with AA and post processing. With my gameplay settings I get 25-35 FPS on one card, 50+ with both. Needless to say, makes a huge difference for me. If you get another 2GB card I think you will be fine. You can then reasonably call it 4GB of VRAM, even barring extra processing overhead for load balancing. Also: Don't build for Skyrim. Build for the Witcher 3. =) -
What's a "Negative time delta during VM update"
Sniflheim replied to mikegray's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Please post the Papyrus section of your Skyrim.ini configuration file. Time delta is the amount of time elapsed between frames. What the error means is that the game is detecting a negative time difference between frames, which is unusual, for sure. Has this caused any problems as far as you can tell?
