  1. There is no change in ground brightness between 3.6 and AE, something must be wrong at your side.
  2. When speaking about "Dynamic Interiors" we are referring to the system used by RCRN (who is named so), which is only used by RCRN. RLO uses a method similar to the one used by ELFX, and is called "Adaptive Interiors" (named so by Syd back in the days). I'm pointing this out, just in order to avoid confusion, since as you wrote too we are talking about different stuff, who works in different ways and with different results. This also why both DI and AI may coexist, for example ELFX is compatible with RCRN, and also RLO could be with not so much work (and would be nice having it finally compatible too). It's not a load of scripts, I assure you it's really lightweight at that side, also because the exterior weather system is preloaded anyway by default. But there is no way to handle it totally scriptless. You can't match the exterior weathers, you can't handle imgs exceptions and the fading bug without using a script.
  3. NO, again. None of ELFX, RLO, or any other mod, are using Dynamic Interiors, since none of them are using the needed scripts for handling it. Both of them are still using the default interior system, just tweaked. RCRN instead uses the exterior lighting system (which is updated minute by minute, unlike the super-simple 4 states system used by the default interior system) converted for interior usage, matching it according to the currently ongoing exterior weather. We probably need to make a video about it in order to clarify this subject.
  4. not needed, is just TES5Edit that is unable to understand the DI behavior. Ignore those errors. I already cleared this point pretty well few pages ago, those speculations are here just because there is a good amount of people on Nexus with some serious envy problems.
  5. Guys let me understand, are we arguing about a DESCRIPTION of a mod instead talking about the Mod it self? Is this a some kind of joke? Our meaning of "real life" is simply referenced to the context, in this case: Skyrim. This means that the meaning of it is not "THIS IS REAL LIFE WOWOWOWOW" but simply "YOU ARE NOT GOING TO INSTALL A SUPER SATURATED KIND OF ENB BRAZILIAN EDITION BUT A LORE FRIENDLY THING". If this is really your issue with RCRN we will swap "real life" with "lore friendly", but I don't really think that someone, apart here on STEP boards is caring about it. Again the RCRN-ENB comparison is totally pointless, you cannot compare things that may work together. And if you really think that RCRN is for low-end systems only, you are totally wrong, sorry but this pic doesn't look low-end at all (this is also from more than an year ago, pre-AE), and no, you will never able to "really play" (and as really play, I mean 60+ fps) something like this with an ENB. So RCRN is for every kind of users, simply there are people who like more to experience environments like that instead of having a couple of weird rendered sun rays and a 20+ fps drop. As I said, the good point of modding is that everyone can use whatever he likes more, so please stop "marking" stuff as low-end without doing the proper logical considerations. We never wrote, SUPPORT TO ALL PRESETS (this is in progress btw, but needs some time, since there is not any standard about them, we need to create one) but we wrote SUPPORT TO ENB, this is limited to the installation/uninstallation and proxy configuring and dll chaining. This is already explained in the official doc, so nothing new. There is no margin to argue here, we fixed it. period. We didn't mess with timescale and it works perfectly fine. Again: try your self. Maybe this is why it took 2 years for properly re-tuning everything. Every single imagespace has been reworked from scratch. And they are tons. if you find a place that looks bad let us know. Hues detection + random picking over a + - range based on the default value. Nothing really hard to do. And who says it's buggy? It isn't buggy at all, it works fine, you just need to learn how does it works and what are the tresholds. Bloom is one of the few things that is not totally crap, codeside I mean. No. You will not experience any snow where it is not supposed to happen. Done since AE Beta 2.0.0 Fixed bloom in every single interior imagespace. And also in this case they are a lot. Who says that it causes issues blablabla is just because he's to lazy to learn/fix it. Ofc is a pain dealing with it, but this allow you to handle it in different way in every location, unlike an Injector that will set the same tresholds/values for everything. This is why we are not using it INJ side. We reworked single interior imagespace. And we added our own Dynamic Interiors in 50+ locations across Tamriel. Dynamic Interiors means that you wil get sec by sec 24h lighting like happens in exterior locations, so you will experience ever every phase of the day and all the fading between them, this is done according to the exterior weather. Additionally if for example outside is raining, inside the interior you will hear rain drops, thunders and windows will flash if a lighting occur. Simply because we are not using an exterior shader but a pre-existing linked. But well we did that an year and half ago, for 3.0, so if you want specific info i need to look in CK, since i don't remember everything. Nay. This is a long matter, and it should be well explained in a thesis that we did for an university, i'll try to find it for you in a not viking language. Aiyen... I'm a graphic designer (apart being also front-end dev), doing fancy things is my job, so can you please explain me why should I make ugly stuff voluntarily? This is totally pointless, it's not an our problem if other mods cannot do the same, we can and we do, but we are not special, everyone can do the same and I also did that for free for HiAlgo and some other mods that asked me some fancy graphics. About suggestions/ideas, I will be happy to hear you! Most of the stuff implemented by RCRN comes from user suggestions, so this is the collaborative spirit i like. Cheers!
  6. sorry but i still don't see any issue in the wording.
  7. I really wonder what's happening to STEP, this looks everything but not a fair discussion, quite good amount of misinformation. I really miss the old times with TheCompiler. Wrong, RCRN can be used in conjunction with ENB, and it's really quite easy installing/uninstalling an ENB via RCRN since it's just drag & drop. Horizon color mismatch has been fixed like 3 RCRN versions ago. About Dusk/Dawn look by your self, if you manage to find a bad one let us know and we will fix it! It's not so subjective if you live in Finland, RCRN uses a tonemap based on it and it's pretty clear in the whole description. If instead you are looking for a Brazil oriented lighting mod there was one around a while ago. The website doesn't have any new/old version, it's just the same since an year and half, anyway thank you for your feedback, really appreciated. Here is how to make Mod Organizer works properly with RCRN: 1/- Install RCRN normally, no need to run it afterwards. 2/- Create a new mod manually in MO. (By creating a new folder in "downloads") 3/- Move the "DataTextures" folder from the skyrim install folder to the one you created. 4/- Add the RCRN Launcher as an executable through MO, then run it from there. (So that all new texture files it might add for the snow and ice get sent to the overwrite folder) 5/- ??? 6/- Profit! False Advertising? This made me laugh, It's not a mystery at all that there are several companies supporting us, like Steelseries, BitRock and Nvidia. This should be quite clear when looking at our website. This summer we were also invited in SF, and somewhere in our news there is a blog post about that. RCRN is way older than the mods you posted, so i do not see your point. And they also do totally different things. And btw ELFX is also compatible and suggested. Regarding the RLWC affair it ended an year ago, and we already solved the whole thing properly, so relationships between both dev teams are quite fine, you can see this by your own, since Syd also posted a couple of days ago in our Nexus board. "The installer way is just silly... when ALL other mods do it differently" -> Sorry but Autoinstallers are pretty the standard method for dealing with complex stuff. For example Inj stuff can't be handled by mod organizers like NMM and others. Anyway we need it in order to check that the presence of the required folders, otherwise the Customizer will not work. We also do not plan to die for offering technical support to people doing wrong stuff with a manual installation, and this has a 90% probability to happen, due the 36 .esp files used by RCRN and the wide amount of textures. I don't even see your point since it seems quite easy to use. "Compatibility check" automatically fix the issues if you wish it. Did you read the changelog? I guess not. MannyGT is part of the RCRN dev team since ages. And anyway the Volumetric Fog provided with RCRN is totally different from the one uploaded as stand alone on Nexus. RCRN is not a SweetFX preset. Bloom is not used, HDR is. This is clearly written in our .h files, this means that you never looked at the code. Anyway keep in mind that RCRN is not based on our most recent tech, and the Inj part is not updated since when we teamed up with the SweetFX and HiAlgo teams. This will result in a new injector/software that works with every game, currently planned for Q1 2014, and I assure you that it has some really amazing features. Conclusion: the whole thing is not for Workshop users, since AE is not even compatible with it. Do you like write txt? OFC you can, we have it too! But personally i'll stick with a proper UI since we are in 2013 and not in 1980. Since ENB and RCRN can work together without any issue I do not really see your point, about presets there are already several around, just give some time to people and more will pop, we released AE just a couple of days ago. Regarding screenshots and videos, well they are just screenshots and videos like every mod has, I do not really see your point here. Usually the user submitted screenshots are way better then our "official" ones. The video is done by Culvey, and it looks quite like the Gopher videos, apart the amazing 4K resolution. I really do not know why you are hating us so much, since we are only modders offering something for free. If you don't enjoy our work, there is no problem at all, this is the whole point of modding: you can find whatever you want. But if you spread misinformation about our work just for the sake of doing it, you obviously turn me angry. Cheers.
