I am sorry to disturb you again. I've tried what you suggested but the problem is still persisting. I've tried on a specific book (Mystery of Talara V1) since it's the first book i can find when starting the game with alternate star and the LOTD start, but i had no luck, the model still didn't appeared and the game crashed every time i read it. I've found an old topic where they try to integrate LOTD witht he step build. The last post is kinda interesting, Do you think that would still work now? I was thinking to reinstall Book Covers and the Step Patches to bring back all the records i've deleted and try again following those steps.

Alright thanks you, i'll try look into it again. The only thing thats bothering me is that i did actually remove a bunch of records to remove the master from the step patches. For example from the conflit one i had to remove a lot of model and INAM. Also i did remove BC e Lost library from LO. I don't understand if this is what caused the models of book not showing in game. (When i select the book in the inventory the model is that of the last item seen...if i try to read it the game just crash) But yeah i'll try to look into it again and see. Thanks you yall

Mmmh, i am sorry i don't really understand what i should do about removing the BCS e BC-Lost Library records from the step patches. I already cleaned the the patches to remove the masters, i don't really know how i should use xedit to do what your suggesting :C

How should i proced with this removal? I am how do i check the record? From xEdit? In the same way i cleaned the master? Sorry to bother you but i am new to the modding territory

Here i am again....i followed the guide to clean the step patches puglins from the Book Cover master plugin....after that i disabled that since LOTD already has that. Now the game works fine, the only problem is that i surely ****ed up a lot of book since i can't see theire preview from the inventory and when i try to read one the game just crash. Does anyone know how to help me?

Could you point me to some guide on how to remove masters? I came back to skyrim just for LotD actually...so yeah not playing with it would not be the best. I am taking this opportunity to learn more about the modding world so I don't mind putting myself into problem solving.

Hi, still me. Everything is looking fine now. I was tempering with the modpack trying to add Legacy of the dragonborn. As for now i didn't encounter any huge problem, the only thing is that LOTD has already "Book Covers" and " Book Covers Lost Library" in it so LOOT is giving me an error. I tries to Untick those 2 mods just to see what would happer, but looks like most of the STEP patches (Including the conflict Resolution) depends on those mods somehow. Does anyone know how i could solve this? Also teoretically i should run DynDOLOD again but should i run xLODGen and TexGen too? Thanks you all

Alright, that did wonders, i had to put the grass crash fixes all the way up before Step Patches like you suggested. Sorry for the late replay but i've been with high fever .

I am sorry, i am new so i don't really understand. What do you mean with download the grass cache? I followed the guide so i should've done that.

MMh tha is weird because i am not usign that mod. I followed every step according to the guide, the one i am using is Grass Cache Fixes.

I am sorry i am reposting something here even if the post is already closed. I was experimenti with some configs and it occured to me.....i feel like there is something out of place(Look imagiese). Is the terrain supposed to look like this? Wasn't this area more grassy with foliages? Is this the normal STEP looking tundra? I am just outside of Whiterun. I just want to know if it's ok or not, and if it isn't, what could be the problem?

Thanks' you very much, i didn't know how much i could temper with the step build, but from what you said, STEP is like a very good base where i can add my "way to play the game". I'll follow your advice about backing it up.

Hi there, i am a newbe when it comes to modding but following STEP guide i manage somehow to properly setup the game. Now i was wondering, since i would like to install some conteng mod like Legacy of the dragonborne or Undeath remastered, immersion armor and weapons, bandoliers....that kind of stuff. (Not much really i would be more than happy with just these 3/4 mods). Is there a proper way to do this with the Step setup as a base? What would you suggest me to do? Would i still have a stable game experience? Also what if i don't want mods to be updated....i would like to have the build frozen since it just work.

Hi, i am kinda new to the modding world, i always did some minor modding, usually ending with a bad build and an almost unplayable game. I am trying to give a shot following this guide. I followed every step until the Extenders section. Tried to run the game and it started but i got to download all the creation stuff...again....i did that when the guide told me to, so i don't really know what happened now. I ran LOOT again to see if there was some dirty plugins since it download everything again and yes there are dirty plugins again. Now my question is should i clean my plugins again? also should i verify the file after that? Doens't that change everything again like SKSE64 files and more? Also I am getting an error about SSE Engine FIxes, it says that the installed version(6.2.0) is not the newest since the new release is the (6.1.1) but i am playing on Skyrim AE(1.6.1170) so i downloaded the required version.
