  1. It seems to be all weather transition effects from sound to cloud transitions function properly, only the visible rainfall ends abruptly instead of transitioning properly. I guess it lasts approximately just as long as the particular weather transition is supposed to last.
  2. That's true. I'll remember to provide the games name for sure next time.
  3. Update..: I spoke too soon.. but apparently rain only ends abruptly for me when it's a heavy rain and lightning storm. So that's something. Maybe my issue is with Storm Lightning for SSE.
  4. My brother in christ idk what more context i could give. But arguably I gave enough context because your minimal effort response was just what I needed. Thank you i swear i couldn't pick any other tag, i tried. and i had to pick some tag to even post.
  5. I got this pop-up when rebuilding Bashed Patch: Should I do something about it?
  6. UPDATE: I recently decided to start adding to my mod-list via a new instance in MO. It is a cloned instance of one I setup following the Step guide. I'm only adding to the list, essentially using Step Skyrim 2.2.0 as the foundation for my mod-list. I installed Splashes of Storms (also Rudy's SoS fix for ENB) and disabled Wonders of Weather splashes in its MCM. Since then, I am no longer experiencing issues with rain ending abruptly.
  7. Do you think it could it be due to script lag? I searched the Step Skyrim SE Guide forum with phrases like "weather", "rain", "rain ends abruptly" and though I didn't find any posts expressing similar issues with rain suddenly ceasing I did see plenty of mentions about how Wonders of Weather introduces script lag.. Is rain even scripted?
  8. As the title of this post states, I'm having an issue with rain ending abruptly. After the rainfall suddenly stops the sounds of rainfall gradually soften to a stop and splashes from the Wonders of Weather mod taper down to a stop with the audio. The rainfall just cuts out like a light switch, 100 to 0 instantly. I've checked my mod list against the guide (my mod list is purely Step 2.2.0 mods including the lighting & weather modgroup as well as the post-processing modgroup) and I'm sure I've installed everything relevant to this issue properly as instructed. I'm at a loss as to what is causing this. The only thing I can think to try to do about this is reinstall all relevant mods. If anybody has any ideas I'd appreciate your input. Thanks.
  9. The most recent DynDOLOD update was not out yet when I updated CL and AYOP, so no I had not update DynDOLOD before regenerating LODs and first encountering issues at Hendraheim nor when I first revisited Hendraheim from a new game. I did however update DynDOLOD to the newest version that released just a few days ago and again regenerated LODs (because frankly I'm not too sure about when I don't need to regenerate LODs and so I figured it wouldn't hurt to do it whenever updating exterior world-space environment texture/mesh mods or DynDOLOD itself) before starting my new play-through yesterday, and Hendraheim was fine when I revisited afterwards. And, well, I deleted the bugged save already lol.. I figured I'd just take the L, learn my lesson and be much more careful about when/where/how I save/load/update my game. I wasn't very far along in that bugged play-through anyway. I may just avoid updating anything until I finish the game to be honest. Nevertheless, I'm really grateful for all the support I've received in this thread. I'm new to Skyrim modding so it's reassuring that I made the right call joining the Step community instead of using Vortex mod-packs.
  10. My mod list is purely Step Skyrim AE 2.2.0 mods, every mod level from the guide, all mods up-to-date and always using Step suggested settings when available. I appreciate all suggestions, but I'm sure now the cause of my issue was not making a clean save in an interior cell before updating Cathedral Landscape and regenerating all LOD since I revisited Hendraheim from a new game and did not experience the same issues. Thanks anyway for your input @DoubleYou, I appreciate all you do.
  11. After revisiting Hendraheim from a new game, its fine and everything loads in properly, no problem. So this is surely a save game issue, which makes sense because I very recently updated Cathedral Landscapes and At Your Own Pace. ..So I'll be looking up how to save this game save. I've read somewhere about cleaning game save files but I forget where I read that. If anybody knows how I could save my game save or if I even can, you could make my day by filling me in or just sharing a link. Thanks!
  12. When I approach Hendraheim most of the surrounding environment starts bugging out, popping in and out of sight. The house itself is mostly non-existent, I can walk right through where it's supposed to be. I'm not sure what the issue here is. I've not encountered this issue elsewhere. I'm running a pure Step 2.2.0 installation. Everything is up to date. Screenshots below. Any support is appreciated.
  13. I've been enjoying Skyrim AE modded with STEP 2.2.0 guide the past couple days. Today I decided to take the time to endorse and track all the mods from the guide and realized that there was just one mod that I missed: Blackreach Tentacle Mesh Fix. I installed it and moved it where it should go in the mod list, sorted with LOOT and all that good stuff. I checked with the guide about when to regenerate LOD and it doesn't mention anything about meshes. Just figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here to make sure.
  14. The issue is resolved! Apparently I didn't make all the changes highlighted in the yellow box in the image you shared hehehe.. Thank you so much @z929669
  15. I have a question regarding the instructions for changes to DynDOLOD_SSE.ini. Where in the picture above it states "; only necessary when using ENB" does that mean I should use a semicolon to comment out those lines if I'm using ENB (because that's how I interpreted it and that's what I did) or does it mean I should remove the semicolon (that wasn't present at those line or any of the other listed lines) from those lines if I'm using ENB?
  16. I just completed the STEP Guide, installing every mod group. I followed it thoroughly and used STEP suggested settings when suggested. I have not omitted any mods from any group nor added any not from the guide. So far everything seems to be working fine, other than the map. Most LOD is missing from the map. The map has HD textures and roads, clouds are removed and i can see Solstheim. There are trees in the rift only. The only building is the one on the island on the lake in the rift, all other cities and buildings are missing. Any suggestions for resolving this issue would be appreciated.
