Thanks for the answer. My problem, being a newbie, was just not following those steps. After running xlodgen.exe my game does not open on steam or vortex (when I ran it I did not rename it or change the folder, I just ran the program directly from the downloads unzipped in winrar). Then I tried to follow the xLODgen installation steps but the problem persists. I would like to know if there is any way to revert the changes made by running xlodgen.exe to be able to play again without enjoying this mod. Or if there is any way to completely remove the changes made by the mod. Or for example to know if uninstalling the game and reinstalling it would work to be able to play keeping my previous list of vortex mods. Thanks again.

Hi I hope you guys are ok. I am new to modding and I downloaded xLODgen to use it in skyrim se, it turns out that I rushed and ran xlodgen.exe before following the installation steps, I tried to open the game and it didn't open, then I followed the installation steps but the game still doesn't open. Is there any way to revert the changes after running the program or fix the problem to be able to open the game normally? Do you know if the mod works for Skyrim AE? Thank you...
