I don't know why, but I'm having problems with this black face bug after finishing the NPC Retexture section. It seems the only mods that noticeably work are Bijin Warmaidens and NPCs. I follow the guide exactly with the WICO .bsa replacement, and then the extraction and deletion of the .bsa's. I remove or don't install the mentioned esps, and delete all the mentioned files. Would anything in the prior section affect this because perhaps I did something wrong earlier. If so, I might just restart with a clean install and follow the youtube guide. But I want to make sure about this bug before I do something like that, of course.

Hey there, I'm having trouble with the NPC Retexture section. Can't seem to figure out the black face bug. I follow everything as perfect as I can and still, problems happen. It seems to happen after installing the Retexture merge, after I've removed the esps from the appropriate mods. Everything works fine when I leave everything as is before doing all the deletions and extractions, but once I do that, the black face bug reemerges. I also don't include some of the mods in that section, if that helps narrow it down. Though, I had the same problem in a previous session when I did install all of them, so I'm out of ideas.

NVM. Disregard this. I just reinstalled a fresh copy SKSE and it worked perfectly.

Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble with SkyUI after finishing the [General UI Improvements] section. I get error code 1 saying that SKSE64 is not running. SkyUI works, but the game hangs for a few seconds before opening any type of inventories. Is there any solution to this? The three essential files are added to the main folder and I've installed the scripts through MO2. Before following the guide I usually just added the scripts directly to the data folder and had no error messages showing up. Is there a reason for adding the scripts through MO2, other than (I'm assuming) keeping them out of the vanilla profile? Thanks.
