  1. Yeah, waiting for the official update is probably the safest route :) I miss it a lot, though :P Hunting in Skyrim can work with Hunterborn if you disable it's skinning system. It's probably not for everyone, but it does add even more features to the hunting experience. The mod isn't done yet, though. B1gBadDaddy's still working on it. I'll add the Paladin artifacts and try to fix the SFO problem. Thanks for the hints. And thanks a ton for the update. Is it necessary to rebuild the zPatch?
  2. So, I finally finished the modding journey, and I'm surprised at how well it runs. I was a bit worried (I usually held back on the 4k stuff in fear of my pc imploding), but everything is so smooth. I do have a problem, and I'm hoping you can point me to where I did things wrong. Screenshot in the spoiler tag. As you can see, trees in the background are fine, but when they get to the "foreground" the textures are missing. I haven't encountered that problem before, and I don't know if it's a DynDOLOD thing, or a merge problem or something else. Any pointers are well appreciated! And some questions about mods, I hope that's okay. I know you're putting out an update soon, but I just wanted to ask. :) Frostfall - I've previously used it together with iNeed, with DracoTorre's fixes (here). Are you waiting for Chesko's official update to it, and do you think it'd be fine installing it with the temporary fix, and then updating for the full fix once he updated his mod(s)? (orwould you suggest using the Creation Club version until he updates, as that can be turned off in-game?) General equipment additions. Like the Breton Paladin Artifacts, what's your take on things like that? :) Hunting in Skyrim - Would there be any incompatibilities with this one? Quick Loot - I like it. Is there problems with it? :P
  3. Yeah, that's how it worked every time I converted a regular .esp, but after ESMifying it in wrye bash, as the guide suggests, that is the process. A master file cannot be selected as the active file. Edit: I think I've been an idiot. I'm supposed to ESMify Better Dynamic Snow and No snow under the roof, to convert the Better Dynamic Snow - NSUTR Patch.esp. Not to convert dynamic snow and no snow under the roof directly. Bah Long lasting brain fart.
  4. I'll try reinstalling them, doing the conversion process again, on both plugins, and then rebuild the snow merge. I've had some problems with the CK not wanting to save the plugins. If I point it to the Mo2 mods folder, it'll return an invalid folder error. If I try to save in the regular Data folder, it'll return "is master or in use" error (I assume, because MO2 is running).
  5. I'm having some trouble with LOOT. First, background of the problem: There are several plugins with user metadata that cannot be cleared. Doing it manually or clearing all data at once is the same result. Does anyone here know if there's a way to start 100% clean with loot, with no previous data? I tried deleting loot and reinstalling it, but somehow the data remains. I located LOOT's folder in C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\LOOT, and deleted everything there, reinstalled the program and LOOT was back to it's basic form. I then proceeded to follow the "Idiot check makes sure the following custom Loot User Metadata Rules are done: After setting all of them up, LOOT reports this error, when I try to sort: Cyclic interaction detected between plugins "Better Dynamic Snow.esp" and "Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp". Back cycle: Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp, Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul.esp, Helarchen Creek.esp, Prometheus_No_snow_Under_the_roof.esp, Better Dynamic Snow.esp Any idea what went wrong there?
  6. Hot damn, thank you for the extremely swift response :) You were right, I rebuilt the Animal pack and now it's fine. Damn those little devilish details :P
  7. Thanks a gazillion times for this incredibly detailed mod guide. I can't wait to get to play at the end. I am, however, getting an error, trying to merge the "AAE Patches Merged" pack. Specifically, on the LOTD SE - AAE Patch.esp The error is, as shown: [spoiler=here]Checking for errors in Lexys LOTD SE - AAE Patch.esp EncTrollFrost "Frost Troll" [NPC_:00023ABB] NPC_ \ Packages \ PKID - Package -> Found a LVLN reference, expected: PACK EncTroll "Troll" [NPC_:00023ABA] NPC_ \ Packages \ PKID - Package -> Found a LVLN reference, expected: PACK All done! Running the plugin through an error check in xEdit, also shows that same error: [spoiler=xEdit error]Checking for Errors in [0A] Lexys LOTD SE - AAE Patch.esp [00:00] EncTroll "Troll" [NPC_:00023ABA] [00:00] NPC_ \ Packages \ PKID - Package -> Found a LVLN reference, expected: PACK [00:00] EncTrollFrost "Frost Troll" [NPC_:00023ABB] [00:00] NPC_ \ Packages \ PKID - Package -> Found a LVLN reference, expected: PACK [00:00] All Done! Not sure what went wrong there. I'm using the latest version of the plugin (version 1.0, uploaded 15 Feb 2018, 9:42AM), located here If I can provide any more details, do let me know :) Hope someone can help, and again, thanks a ton for the guide.
  8. Hey, sorry for the late reply. Been working on getting the game to work properly. I've always tried to avoid MO2 like the plague, because I never could get it working right. This time, I caved. I reinstalled the entire mod list, made new merged plugins, and ensured everything was installed in the proper order. While mator smash now works (if I disable the k9 tactical harness and the Fogout plugins, otherwise the program gets stuck on "loading resources") every single UI mod I installed will not work, at all. One of these days someone is going to have to explain the benefits of MO2, because all I've ever gotten from it are crashes and unfunctioning mods :/ (sorry for the rant)
  9. Hey there! So, I've been suggested to post here by Gamerpoets. I need a dummies' guide to get this utility to work with Fallout 4. When I download the utility, the settings subfolder in the Fallout 4 folder, is empty. If I, at this state, launch the utility, I cannot change smash settings (because there are none, of course), and as such cannot build a patch. Previously, I've copied the settings from the Skyrim folder to Fallout 4, and that used to work, but after I installed a number of Creation Club content, the utility simply crash when I build a patch. Deselecting the .esl files at startup presents the same result (.esl files aren't loaded by the application, as it presents a read of address error while loading them, even after taking ownership). So, yeah. Dummies' guide to this, please :P Thanks, otherwise, for the great utilities. // Lars J
