  1. Thanks everyone for your replies! I've looked into things and I'm quite sure I've got crash fixes configured and installed correctly, all the files are where they should be and the settings are as directed. My Modorganizer/mods/SKSE did indeed have a superfluous SKSE.ini file, so I moved it out of the way. I hope it helps! I also discovered a few mistakes I made myself, specifically that I had forgotten to install Animations Package and Vanilla Skyrim LOD Billboards after downloading them (derp). Additionally I was unable to download "SRLE Extended LOTD - CR Update for 1.56 (TESTING)" as the link is dead. I don't think this would cause an issue but when attempting to perform the RSC merge I received an error and thus did not proceed with the merge. I will fix what I can for now: removing the extra SKSE.ini, installing those two mods, and doing all the steps required after installing new mods - then get back to all you nice people on how it went. Thanks again!
  2. Hello everyone! I've been getting back into Skyrim recently and decided to have a go at being a bit more advanced with my modding game. I came across STEP and then this guide in particular. I really like it! It's in depth and comprehensive, and was satisfying to follow. I ran into a few problems while going through the steps but looking at this thread helped me with some of them. Today I've finally gotten to the end of the guide and launched my game! Unfortunately the game crashed soon after loading a new game. There is a message that displays upon choosing "new game" and before choosing "start" which I have pasted here. I have gone to skyrim/data/SKSE/SKSE.ini and verified that my DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768. My LOOT and MO both returned no errors. Here is my load order: https://pastebin.com/zfVabL31 My system is a 1070 GPU, i7-6700k, and 16 GB of RAM. I know I'm just a n00b likely wasting your time with a stupid question but it would mean a lot to me if I were able to get this fixed. What would you recommend I do?
