Is SkyUI show armor slots compatible with FF without the patch? -

I am just surprised by the huge difference between Darth's load order and the one LOOT put out for me. I'd say about 85% of plugins have a different priority. -

How important is that manual sorting? Whenever trying to research that, some people shout "Loot is s***" while others nonchalantly tell them to calm down, Loot does a good job. The load order Loot gives me is quite different from the one you or Darth have. -

Needing help was not really the point of my post ;) It was just a heads up - maybe the suggested position of the merge could be changed - because I bet a few people out there unknowingly play with the standard Northgirl textures and miss out. -

Just a heads up: The guide advises to install Optional Files as seperate mods, so when installing Northgirl Armor people following this practice will have two mods - the main mod and the Gamwich retexture. When doing the Weapons & Armors merge, only the main file is included but the resulting merge is put after Wayfarer's Coat further down the order, overwriting the Gamwich textures with the original textures again. -

Thanks! Yes, the VRAM is another candidate. I am just trying to eliminate other probable causes because if it is VRAM, the Autumn Patch for Win10 will fix it. -

Sounds like you have Hunterborn running yourself. I have added Hunterborn, too, but I'm not sure I did all the patching/CR necessary. Running into some CTD/freezes. I installed a patch for Bathing in Skyrim, CACO, Campfire, Wearable Lanterns and Your Own Thoughts. I didn't find anything necessitating manual CR. Anything I missed from your knowledge? -

There is a changelog, linked at the top of the main guide. https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Darth_mathias/SRLE_Extended_Legacy_of_The_Dragonborn/Changelog_SRLE_LOTD -

So everything except RaceMenu works well? Is RaceMenu still usable? One of the comments is complaining about Atlas Map Markers and Extended UI, both of which the guide uses. Might switch from Flawless Widescreen to this then since I suspect some of my issues may stem from it. -

Just lvl 14, just started. It might have something to do with the 4 mods I added: Hunterborn, Real Shelter, Zim's Artifacts, Bookshelves Updated SKSE Script. As far as I can tell, I have installed all the necessary patches. Hunterborn and Real Shelter never caused issues before, Zim's and Bookshelves I haven't tried long-term before. -

Didn't find any orphaned scripts. If the crashes keep up with this frequency, I might have to shelf Skyrim till SKSE64 comes out or the Win10 vram fix. -

Do you mean when loading in-game? No. -

No. As I said, it just sometimes crashes on start up. No changes in load order between different attempts. -

Ah, I am going crazy. Skyrim sometimes decides it doesn't want to anymore. Crash on in-game loading screens, sometimes on startup (before Bethesda logo, screen just turns black for a sec). Sometimes a save doesn't want to be loaded anymore and I have to revert to an earlier one. The issues are all over the place, don't know how to troubleshoot this :( -

Yeah, I am using an ultra-wide monitor and had the same issue. Camera zooms in, then bounces back to the normal view. I don't really need it, so I just disabled it in the MCM (some option on the right side column, dunno the name). Are you using Flawless Widescreen? If you uncheck World FOV Fix it is supposed to work. -

Especially with the Win10 vram fix coming in about a month, I would need SKSE64 to be convinced to play SSE. With SKSE64, hell yeah I'd try such a setup :) -

Yeah, the cart may flip. But simply trying the sequence again often solves that. And Frostfall's MCM allows to set the rate at which you gain exposure to 0, effectively disabling the mod till you are your own master. I am more concerned with the stutters and lag on loading new cells... My setup is as beefy as they come. I guess it's the high resolution, because most people seem to be fine running this setup. If I want to switch from 3440x1440 to 2560x1080, I just have to change the values in the skyrimprefs.ini? No further changes needed for the borderless window mode from Onetweak, the nvidia settings and the enb? -

I just started a new game with guide's setup and I must say, it looks great :) I found out that with LAL, it is possible to play the Vanilla Helgen start with Helgen Reborn activated. Among several sources, Arthmoor himself states this here. It worked for me on the second attempt, which is rather good for the carriage ride on a modded game IMO. And way less work than disabling everything pertaining Helgen Reborn, redoing the patches that have it as master, and reversing everything a few minutes later. I have one issue though: I seem to be running out of the 4GB VRAM limit for Win10. Might this be because I have a 3440x1440 ultra-widescreen monitor? GPU and CPU usage average out around 40-50%, game and mods are installed on a SSD. But I only get 30-35 FPS on average and frequent stutters. Any ideas? -

I just tried to start up a clean safe after leaving the cave at Helgen with the new setup and got a crash while Skyrim was setting up FootIK. According to Crash Fixes, it comes from too many animations being loaded. Any suggestions? Edit: I found some claims that Load Game CTD Fix helps with the crash. But as far as I understand it, this mod has nothing to do with animations, does it? -

Wow, that was quick :) I just started running DynDOLOD and got a Duplicate FormID error. Deactivating the bashed patch seems to have fixed the issue (DynDOLOD still running, but got past the point that caused the error earlier). Should the bashed patch ever be part of the DynDOLOD generation? Any issues I should be aware of? -

Figured that out as well ;) I just mentioned one of my initial issues to point out some things a less experienced person might stumble over. The merge section has a few areas where the wording is unclear and specific information is assumed to be common knowledge. The rest of the guide is almost perfect in giving all the necessary information exactly when you need it. Ah, now I understand what you mean :) I thought you mean that the files do not merge properly, so any files being merged except for the esps might be corrupted. Not that if the files are copied, they work as intended and I should leave DSAMG active just in case some files were not copied over at all. -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
SionEnglaid replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Just came to this part of the merging. In the description, you state that I should make sure "files are not being copied into new merge." What do you exactly mean by that? How? All the files from the mod are in the merge (DSAMG is being overwritten except for the esps) and DSAMG is loaded before the merge if I follow the guide's order. -

Yeah, I watched that video last time I last merged esps. That was a while ago - long enough to forget details, but not long enough to warrant watching it all over again because I still know 80% of it. I think the guide offers me enough help so I don't have to watch it again ;) I agree. A bit more explanation and especially how to streamline the workflow would be helpful. I think most people would think about setting up separate profiles for each merge - after they updated their mods the second or third time, or after they installed the second or third mod setup. If you are newer to this, getting everything to work is the focus, not doing it efficiently the first time around. -

SionEnglaid replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Okay, thanks! That is a LOT of profiles... But a good idea for the workflow. At first, I couldn't build a merge because I had loaded more esps than the limit allowed. The guide overs a great workflow. Each step is laid out clearly. You don't have to know a lot about all the tools, everything you need is in there. But in the Merge Plugins Standalone section, this changes. It's more of a list of resources: "Here, read this. And this. And this. Then think about what you learned and develop your own approach to merging." It feels to me like a change in the guide's learning curve, especially if you haven't worked with Merge Plugins before. -

I arrived at the guide's Merge Plugins part. So far it was all pretty clear and well written, thank you :) But here it gets a bit confusing: I do have to check which mods add the .esps being merged and if all the .esps from the mod have been merged, deactivate it in the left pane of the mod loader, right? I remember from using the Merge Plugins tool last time that it sometimes doesn't properly add scripts and other files to the new merged mod. Is this still an issue? And if so, I assume you have noted these cases on the "Merges Page" of the guide?
