Solved the problem. It was my antivirus blocking that dll and a couple of other ones.

So I have installed version 2.0.8.2. Launched mod organizer. first error I get is the missing dll file. Second error is stating Python not installed or not found. Closed mod organizer. I then downloaded and installed the latest 32 bit version as per the information given in the extended information regarding the python not installed or found error. Confirmed python is working by the hello world command. That is as far as I go with any programing. Launched mod organizer and the same two errors are still there. Where to from here, the pub for a stiff drink? I realise it won`t stop the game running but it will stop full functionality of mod organizer.

Ok I have had a squiz at the profile settings and I already have the Local games setting enabled. So some thing else is amiss.

I may be stating the obvious here and apologize if so. Is it because mod organize 2 and its various updates are mainly beta that the Ini editor and Configurator are not functioning? Or on the other hand do I have a problem ?

I have already installed Mod organizer 2.7. I tried to up grade to Mod organizer 2.8. Started the install and the install asked if I wanted to keep my mods, down loads and profiles. So I clicked yes and it then began to delete every thing starting with my down loads. I luckily had task manager running so was able to terminate the program. But it had in only about thirty seconds deleted about forty gigs of zipped mods. So I manually deleted all traces of the mod organizer install including app data files. I then reinstalled mod organizer 2.7 with out any trouble. But now loot will not sync with mod organizer. It was working Ok before.

So I have some how two Creation Kit executable`s. I cannot delete either of them. Creation kit will not start from either . Have through the steam site uninstalled Creation kit, then restarted Mod organizer. It still has two Creation Kit executable`s even though it has been uninstalled. So whats next? How do I get rid of the two Creation Kit executable`s ?
