  1. Thanks, sheson, that worked perfectly. I was trying to follow GamerPoet's video so closely that I forgot TESV.ini was not SSE.ini. Thanks for your support and for your miraculous mod.
  2. When I do the the 2 step process for Open Cities, the first step works fine. But, after changing the ini and rechecking Open Cities, dyndolodx64 won't execute because it detects open cities.esp. I have double checked that open cities has been removed from warnmodfilename, and have tried every variation of including/deleting lines in skyrim tamriel, but no luck. I am using version 2.64 and am following the manual as best i can. Thanks.
  3. Thank you for the extraordinary guide! One question - after installing the Not So Fast mods, neither of the esps appears in the creation kit for converting. I did install with the BSA extractor set to true, the esps appear in MO2, just not in the Ck. Thanks.
  4. Thanks, Tzefira. I followed your instructions but at 2. select "high performance NVIDIA processor" I am unable to follow, since my box for 2. options are just settings for the program (ambient occlusion, anisotropic filtering, etc.) and does not contain the option to force the game onto "High performance NVIDIA processor"...
  5. Wonderful guide! I am moving over from SRLE LOTD Oldrim to this guide but I am getting consistent BSODs which I did not on Oldrim. I can get into the game just fine, everything works as it should, but within 5 minutes it will lock up with black screen. Any thoughts on why this would be occurring in general and in SE only especially? Looking online I have found the 2 biggest issues in general appear to be Nvidia drivers and Windows Touch Keyboard service. I rolled back my drivers to a previous version and played for an hour without issue, but then then BSODs started happening again. I also have been unable to turn off the Touch Keyboard function and have not yet figured out why. I greatly appreciate all of you folks' help.
  6. Thanks, Tech, worked like a charm.
  7. Hello Folks, long time STEP user and fan - thank you all for the wonderful guide. I have been trying to add Windows 7 to a pre-existing W10 system to bypass the 4gb vram limit. However, I could not find any specific instructions on how to get STEAM and Skyrim working on W7. I can run skyrim on w10 with no issues, but in 7 skyrim will not launch by any means - skyrimlauncer, tesv.exe, by SKSE through MO, as admin, etc. I get either beth logo then CTD (when launching from Skyrim) or straight CTD (when launching SKSE through MO). All I tried was to create desktop shortcuts to all the .exes on the W7 desktop, but now it seems a bigger procedure is required. Any instructions or links to instructions would be appreciated. Also, I am wondering if this still even a good idea with SSE available. Is it correct that with SSE there is no longer any 4gb vram limit, and if so, would it be better to simply wait until the STEP and SRLE guides for SSE are up and stay on W10? Thanks.
