Guide/Version-Specific Mod Recommendations

Existing Guides
2.0.0
2.1.0
2.2.0
2.3
Type a version string using the format indicated by the placeholder text below. Copy/paste the intended guide version from the "Existing Guides" table above (if it exists) into the field below. For unofficial user-created guides, use the format indicated by the placeholder text. Editors: Please DO NOT use wiki headings inside of custom Recommendations and also avoid using templates if at all possible! Template calls add to the max threshold, and headings mess up the guide ToC.

Recommendations

  1. Download the latest version from the GitHub page (Nemesis.Unlimited.Behavior.Engine.*.rar).
  2. Install the archive into Mod Organizer.
Add to Mod Organizer Executables

Nemesis is run through Mod Organizer like most other tools. Add Nemesis to the list of executables by doing the following:

  1. In the right pane, go to the Data tab.
  2. Locate the Nemesis_Engine folder and expand it.
  3. Right-click the Nemesis Unlimited Behavior Engine.exe file and select [Add as Executable].
  4. In the window that opens, type Nemesis for the title.
  5. Click [OK].

It is recommended to create a mod to store output files from Nemesis by doing the following:

  1. In the left pane, right-click on Overwrite at the bottom of your mod list, hover over All Mods, and choose Create Empty Mod Above.
  2. In the window that opens, type Step SkryimSE - Nemesis Output for the name.
  3. Open the Executables menu and choose Nemesis.
  4. Tick the Create files in mod instead of overwrite (*) checkmark and select Step SkryimSE - Nemesis Output from the dropdown.
  5. Click [Apply] and then [OK].
Usage

Nemesis needs to run in order to generate a new skeleton any time that animation/skeleton mods are added/changed. To do so:

  1. Sort the load order with LOOT.
  2. Choose Nemesis from the executables dropdown and click Run to run it through Mod Organizer.
  3. Checkmark any relevant mods listed at the top. For STEP users, none need to be selected.
  4. Click Update Engine and wait until the progress bar has finished.
  5. Click Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine and wait until it says "Behavior generation complete" and close.
  6. Enable the new plugin in the right pane of MO by ticking it.
  7. Sort the load order with LOOT, again.
