| Three versions of the Step ENB preset are available, depending on performance requirements:
| |
| * '''Heavy''' includes all of the significant effects and is recommended for systems that can withstand the performance cost of approx. 30-50 FPS in exteriors.
| |
| * '''light''' includes some of the significant effects and all essentials but at slightly lower quality than Heavy. This is will cost approx. 20-40 FPS in exteriors.

ENBSeries
by Boris Vorontsov
Guide/Version-Specific Mod Recommendations
Type a version string using the format indicated by the placeholder text below. Copy/paste the intended guide version from the "Existing Guides" table above (if it exists) into the field below. For unofficial user-created guides, use the format indicated by the placeholder text. Editors: Please DO NOT use wiki headings inside of custom Recommendations and also avoid using templates if at all possible! Template calls add to the max threshold, and headings mess up the guide ToC.
Recommendations
For those unfamiliar with ENB, see the ENBSeries guide for information about ENBSeries post processing. Otherwise, download and install ENB as follows:
Install ENBSeries Binaries
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click on the link for the newest version available
- Scroll to the bottom of the page again, and click on
to download the archive
- Open the archive and open the WrapperVersion folder
- Extract d3d11.dll, d3dcompiler_46e.dll, and enblocal.ini into the root Skyrim Special Edition directory (e.g.,
..Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\
)
- Close the archive, but leave the game directory open for installing the Step SkyrimSE ENB later.
