  1. That would work. You essentially didn't install the mod correctly.
  2. If you haven't been doing it to now, don't worry about it. But you'll need to extract ones we need you to hide things in.
  3. That'll be cause you didn't extract the bsa. The folder in question is in the bsa. Not weird at all. :) This is why we suggest you extract at least the BSA's where we ask you to hide/delete things. EDIT: You don't need to reinstall the mod to fix this. Go to MO, and click the archives tab. Find the bsa in question and right click it. Select extract and let MO do its thing. Then go to the actual mod's folder and delete the bsa from there.in said mod folder you should see the folder structure now you've extracted it all. Remove the relevant folder while you're there. If you haven't turned BSA extraction option on in MO, you'll need to do this for most of the mods in which we ask for things to get removed/hidden. Not all of them as not every mod comes packed in a bsa.
  4. Drop back every graphics mod where you have an option to at least one resolution lower: ie 2K down to 1K options etc. Start there first.
  5. Bah Lexy ninjaed me. Was coming in to say exactly what she just said there...
  6. You should be able to guess most of them within reason. Any you cant work out post here and we'll see what we can recall.
  7. my brane hertz... Now time to look over this guide and make sure Lexy hasn't completely screwed up um I mean all looks good and solid.
  8. The very simple reason is that Wyrmstooth is not easily available any more. End of story. Your call. Try unpacking it and see if it fixes the issue.
  9. That mod creator has a bit of a habit of doing this and then releasing all in one compilations. He may be doing that again. As per Lexy, ignore it for now.
  10. Keeps things clean and neat. Let's be honest, how often to the Readme's ever get read?
  11. Guys, This is supposed to be an advanced sort of guide. We're expecting you to do a little work on learning the tools yourselves. We're not going to explain everything to the nth degree. The guide's long enough as it is without mentioning every single thing.
  12. Never load all the esps for a merge. When the list pops up in Merge Plugins. Click on it and deselelct all of them. Then select JUST the ones you want to merge. Any needed masters will show up red on the list, check them as well. You'll know you got them all when the OK button becomes active. No need to load them all at once. Exactly what it says. In some versions of the Merge Plugins tool there was an issue with all the files being copied into merges, which is why we left that mod actually checked in the left pane. If it's not happening and all the files copy for you, perfect, problem solved. Feel free to uncheck the mod in the left pane as per the other merges. The suggestion's left there for the people who do still get the issue, though.
  13. CR is not difficult if you keep a couple of things in mind. 1) Remember what records you're changing and use common sense on what should win. As an example is ELFX sets a light to be of a certain color and intensity and an armor mod then changes it later on for some reason, you probably want ELFX to win that. 2) Take your time and look at every record. Yeah I know it's a long process, but you'll get better results in the long run.
  14. No, Play with what you have that is working for a play through. THEN come back and update and start again.
  15. I Always wait until I'm sure everything's loaded before I even leave the cell. IE make sure the loading of mods etc is all done. Just in case the delay etc causes issues for you.
  16. Veezy, that's almost surely what Lexy's suggested. Skyrim physics get a little bit hinky when the frame rate gets >70 or so. Thus why we suggest using Profile Inspector and setting frame rate to 58.6 or so.
  17. That's what I just said... Change the load order of a couple of plugins. I don't understand what you're not seeing.
  18. IF you're going to do that I suggest doing this: Keep the profile you have with your current stable well working game. Make a new profile in MO by copying the original one. Then use the new profile to essentially be your test and change profile. The reason why I suggest this is cause if you do change your body there's a lot of other things that will need changing too. You'll need to change all the armours, etc to fit your new body. If you bodyslide up a body and then just put the current UNPB armours from the guide on them, they'll look like UNPB bodies again. If you look all clothes off them, their body would change back to the bodyslide, for example. So you'd need to change ALL armours, including the vanilla ones to fit whatever body mesh you changed to. You'd need to redo any armours and weapons that change in the armours and weapons merge. So have to redo that merge. You'd have to redo the Bashed Patch for sure, and yes I'd redo ASIS and Dual Sheath as well. FNIS I'm not sure about but it's easy to do, so why no redo it as well. Ultimately it's your game and you play with what you like. As I always say. Just saying it WILL be some work, and if your game's running OK at the moment, don't chop it to pieces in case something goes awry. Hence my new profile suggestion.
  19. Exactly what it says. Change the order of the files so EnhancedLightsandFX.esp is before the patch. You can do that manuall by just drag and drop for the purposes of that fix, or doing a LOOT run would fix it too. To be honest you're going to have to ask Lexy. I've not caught up to find out just yet.
  20. Don't worry about it. It's not going to kill you. Load your preset as usual and then if the eyes don't load as you wish, just change them in RaceMenu.
  21. Cause it's not required. There's already a player home in Helgen Reborn.
  22. 1) No, delete the old ones and replace with the new ones. 2) It's a little too complicated to answer in a quick answer here. Suffice to say that if you add new mods and something then goes awry with another mod or the mod you added doesn't work... You may have a conflict. 3) I always suggest once you've started a game with the list of mods you have. Finish the run though before you update and start a new game. Lots less likely to be an issue for you. 4) What's suggested in the guide is what we think's ultimate. You can change stuff around and see what you think. It's your game, so play it as you like. The things that you might change are the Sharpening maybe and the Depth of Field if you're a screenarcher type. 5) If you like post said testimonial and I'll drop a few of the best ones in the top of the guide for the laffs :) Yep, drop it in the Edit Scripts folder.
  23. Your call of course but I consider ESF pretty much a must have. Just adds so much to what is originally a pretty bare-bones quest line. I mean you can be Harbinger with next to no battle skills. I find that unrealistic. Much the same as being Arch-Mage with base level magic skills.
  24. Bah, Lexy gets all those likes for saying her computer's back up and working and I didn't get a single one? No one loves me... As for confusing, well we apologise, but the guide's set towards a more experienced modder. It's going to stay that way. You can make suggestions, sure, but don't expect them to 100% for sure be implemented. Cause they may not be.
  25. No it's not. Easy way to do it is hit the Data tab on MO. Scroll down to Skyproc Patchers. Click on the arrow to the side of Skyproc Patchers. There will be options for ASIS and Dual Sheath Redux patch. Click on the arrow next to ASIS. You'll see a few options there, but what you want to do is Right Click on ASIS.jar and select Add as Executable. That will add ASIS to the list of executables with LOOT, Wrye Bash etc etc. When you get to the end of the guide just run that ASIS executable. And the same deal for Dual Sheath Redux as well. It's not specifically mentioned in the guide how to do that because the guide is more pitched at an experienced modder who has done all this before. There's other ways of going about it, like using the SUM (Skyproc Unified Manager) program, but I prefer to do the Skyproccers separately.
