  1. The shaking is to do with the frame rate issue, more than likely. If you cap your frame rate at max of 60 that should help with that one... Not sure with the unable to get out of the cart one, but long load sequence is not unusual.
  2. ^That on the Motherboard. I use an ASUS Maximus VI Hero and it's perfect for what I need.
  3. To be fair to that video the album it's off is a concept album and there's a bit of a message through it. That's the first time I'd ever heard of her and from that song I looked up more of her work.
  4. Well if you like Elize Ryd: Try her with Kamelot, and add in some Alissa White-Gluz.
  5. Nope. Means Uninterruptible Power Supply. (or Uninterrupted Power Supply, same thing anyway) It's essentially a limited battery backup in case mains power drops. In an absolute worst case, if you hear the UPS alarm go off you know it's time to shut down the machine. However, some actually are good enough to run the rig for a while as well. The internal battery is charged by mains power when mains power is actually applied. When mains drops, the unit switches over to the batteries, and provides AC power to whatever's plugged into it via the in built inverter circuit. I have one on my machine, and it has saved a few issues for me in the past.
  6. In a nutshell, yes. But I keep my own ini files saved away I always use.
  7. I like the Afterschool Special Quest mod. You can basically follow the standard vanilla quest line, ie Goodsprings, down through Primm, pick up Willow, do her quests on the way up to Novac via Nipton, and then to Helios One, and it all fits in pretty seamless. Plus you get a handy place to store stuff as well. Ok you can get the Novac bungalow, but the Schoolhouse is another handy little place as well. Plus it's well voice acted, and you get another trader from it as well. I tend to use the Novac bungalow for the important stuff and the Schoolhouse for stuff like crafting items, etc.
  8. I've only ever had the issue when my frame rate got above 100FPS. Below that it was fine.
  9. I did once, before I installed an ENB. Now it wont work. I've tried deleting the inis and getting GECK to do them over. No dice. Have tried what have heard suggested elsewhere and pulling all the ENB files out and then trying to run the GECK, again, no dice. Runs fine stand alone, or on a vanilla MO profile, though. Very strange.
  10. Sorry: 'Your Mileage may vary' = YMMV. Too used to intarwebs memes and leetspeek...
  11. As I performed basically the same upgrade (670 FTW to a 780 Ti), I say it's worth it if you have the cash. However I did build a whole new machine so YMMV if you're just dropping at 780 Ti in the same machine the 670 was in...
  12. <--- is an Engineer... Is not female. B.Eng (Electronics) at your service.
  13. Crazy Australian Skyrim and New Vegas player here. I also spend some of my spare time playing MMO's like The Secret World. Have been peeking in for a while and looking at what STEP was up to before I finally decided to join up. Even in the short time I've been here I've learnt a whole ton about mods, modding, making patches, ENB's etc. Good to see such a helpful and friendly bunch around. :)
  14. The Flashlight works fine if it goes after oHUD. At least for me, anyway. YMMV. Have never had an issue with pulling each mod from Overwrite separately. The problems I had with that section were 1) Forgetting the MCM Bug Fix and 2) Not doing the manual install of the menus. That's what I get for trying to go quickly, I guess.
  15. I'm going to say New Vegas. I do like the idea of playing all the factions off against each other, I like the setting a tad more than Fallout 3 as well. Having said that I wouldn't complain if all I ever got to play was Fallout 3. I have Fallout 2 hiding somewhere but never played it to comment.
  16. Can confirm this. Tried with a new install for new machine last night and just does nothing.
  17. Sure: In BUM: RealisticNights+COT+DB+DG.esp AFTER CoT-WeatherPatch_ESS.esp should do the trick provided everything else is g2g. Then after that just line the rest of the patches to load AFTER each other in order and you're golden.
  18. Very handy and easy to use tool that one. BTW, using this pack with Extended step looks sensational and there's next to no performance loss. Many thanks.
  19. I had that problem initially too. I fixed it by putting in a specific rule via Boss Userlist Manager.
  20. Have you tried BOSS and seeing if there's an issue? Load your whole load order into FNVEdit and also see if that throws anything out.
  21. Been following and using this guide for a while now, with my personal additions of NV Interiors and Willow, and am happy to see you've added them yourself. Cheers and FONV has never looked and played so good.
