  1. Bloody Hell you lot can talk. I'm off forums for a couple of days and I miss like 10 pages? :D:D:D:D:D
  2. No cause those mods don't have plugins to merge.
  3. When in doubt with the ENB stuff, use the newest version unless mentioned otherwise. Personally I manually install the ENB stuff. The 0.315 vs 0.319 thing is just cause there was an update done by the ENB producer that we haven't caught up on. Similar deal with the ENB tool. It's not been updated. You might also find there's other mods that have not been updated either. In the main, using the newest versions of mods is fine, unless it's mentioned otherwise in the guide.
  4. Oh no. Everyone hit the floor!
  5. To answer a question that's not been asked but I'm sure soon will be... The guide will update the links to point to Nexus' new format slowly over time. And even then only if it becomes necessary. It's a fair bit of time to change every link.
  6. LOOT has a search function you can use. You shouldn't need to scroll back at all.
  7. I'll take a peek at the Runnvald thing and any updates etc shortly. I'm absolutely flat out at the moment.
  8. Yep you could do that, for sure.
  9. Not sure how many times I need to say: 1) We can't add everything. 2) It's your game add what you wish. 3) Keep in mind that the game can only take so much. 4) You want to actually play the game and not be continually messing with it. 5) The more you add the more likely you'll end up with issues. 6) We'll help when we can.
  10. I'm not seeing the problem either, so unless you're willing to give exact places in game you're seeing the issue there's not much we can do. Thanks.
  11. Or even if you don't. You can always add in empty folders as headers. That's what I do. Quick and easy. Something like ==== Other Fixes ==== works wonders. That's the option you want. It's changed in the newer version of Wrye Bash. Should fix that some day. As for why the option's greyed, is the actual ESP ticked in the right pane of MO and thus active? Otherwise Wrye wont know the masters it needs to make.
  12. Aw shucks... The Divine Miss Lexy gives me credit. I am not worthy I am not worthy!!!! As a general point and I've said it before: :) The guide is exactly that. A guide. It's what myself, Lexy and Darth like to use in our games. It's not meant to be the definitive bible of Skyrim mod lists, and never will be. If you happen to like our base flavour, but wan't to add a few extra herbs and spices, go for it. It's your game and you want to play it. 2 points stem from this though: 1) Keep in mind you want to actually PLAY the game. Get out there and shove a two hander through some bandit's wishbone. Stick an ice spike in some bear's brain box. Continually adding and tweaking is fun, but it's not the end game. Keep the end point in sight as you mod. Playing the game. :) 2) We do our best to work in suggestions. There's a few in there already. Not everything is to our tastes, or is simply going to be more work to fit in than we deem fit to attempt, etc. Don't let that stop you tossing it into your game. Toss it in, take a peek at it in xedit, see what it's overwriting and decide if you like that idea or not. But again, keep in mind 1) above. No point modding Skyrim to within an inch of it's life if you go 'phut' every time more than 2 NPC's are on screen at once. :) Also realise that there's some mods we won't be familiar with and really won't be able to support you much with. If that happens, look around Nexus. VERY likely someone's had the same issue as you. Darth, Lexy and myself are all stoked you're enjoying our work. And psst... this MIGHT all show up on SSE soon as well. Be very afraid...
  13. Yep know about that one. Thanks for reminding me. I'll toss it in when I get to the "clutter" section and see what is what.
  14. All I can say is what Lexy said. Pick a version of the guide at a certain time and build to that. Don't bother updating UNLESS it's a hotfix like the Interesting NPCs one is cause they are usually vital to stop mistakes or CTD snafus. Or it's a no esp mod, like textures etc. You should be safe then.
  15. Won't necessarily be the case.
  16. I've done this before and if I recall correctly the default way LOOT sorts this mod and Bring Out your Dead means that a lot of elf characters that had Bring Out Your Dead death plots allocated to them don't have them cause EEO overwrites them. Not a huge biggie to fix in CR from what I recall.
  17. We call it a F**K UP Fix in live sound. Yes I am still alive just been busy organising a job application.
  18. What do I think about what mod? Sorry I've been busy the past few days trying to do 3 fracking jobs at once cause we're two short at work and the boss is on Holidays in Queensland the jammy mofo.
  19. Good. Cause I didn't either. :)
  20. Loot is a starting point. Left alone it does a reasonable to good job. But there's the occasional time it needs help. You could use the LOOT given load order and you'll likely be perfectly fine. Using LOOT rules and some manual sorting will give the optimal order.
  21. Actually: The instructions already suggest to merge the optional file with the main file on installation. If you didn't then go back and do it now.
  22. Just move the Gamwich ones if needed. Or in that case merge the Optional with the main mod. There's always ways around things :) Also holy cr@p... 600 plus pages?
  23. No. You do what you suggested first. Merge the optional in with the mail folder when installing.
  24. No. It's covered in Vitruvia later in the guide.
  25. Cause the guide's big enough as it is and we simply cannot fit in everything. This isn't going to change.
